About this audiobook
Modern life calls for modern relationship advice. Sex From Scratch is a love and dating guidebook that gleans real-life knowledge from smart people in a variety of nontraditional relationships. Instead of telling people how to snag a man, seduce a woman, or find "true love", the book sums up what dozens of diverse folks have learned the hard way over time.
Sarah Mirk offers tips and stories from the steadfastly single to people making open relationships work, from people who've decided they're never going to have kids to parents who are consciously producing the next generation. No matter what type of relationship you're in or what type you want, Mirk's reporterly wisdom and sense of humor provides perspective, humor, and down to earth guidance. This is an essential, fun, insightful resource whose time has come.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Es un libro muy humano en todos los aspectos. No importa tu sexo, orientación sexual o preferencias. Es un libro que vale la pena escuchar por el simple hecho de abordar temas tan complicados sin sentirte que alguien te juzga. La vida es solo una, y aunque el sexo es una pequeña parte de nuestro mundo, es una parte que vale la pena disfrutar.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I think that this would be a good book for young adults, especially those who are looking for other options besides heteronormative monogamous relationships. But as someone who is older and has some experience with the subject matter, I found it to be more of an "introduction" and less helpful to me.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I'm a stalwart monogamist, but I have to admit that polygamists seem to be the only people writing good relationship advice these days. A very thought provoking read.
