Was there so much sex or unrealistic sex that you rolled your eyes and/or skipped forward? Yup - normal for a strong erotic story

The back story... The h is working her way up through the advertising agency she works for when a mistake requires a 10,000 mailer to destroyed and reprinted. She asks her new, direct supervisor to let her pay for the reprint and he agrees. The problem is... she doesn't have the money so she turns to her bestie, Payton, to get her a one-time only job to work at the blind-fold fantasy club to get the 10k that she needs. Of course, she must perform for the club manager in order to secure a spot for the night. She is then stripped and has her hands tied up while men come into the room to bid on their time with her. In comes our H.

Romance or Gist: Definitely a list-filled story with the H doing most of the pursuing.

The drama explosion... The H learns about a minor deception from the H and blows it up to catastrophic proportions... ?
Did it feel Real, OK or contrived? A bit contrived but who really cares.

Final Notes...
1. There are a lot of reviews that are upset about the three-way towards the end of the story.
.. Some are upset because they felt that Payton (the h's bestie, took advantage of the H or even sexually assaulted her. I did not see that in any way. Yes she tied her up and started messing around with her but she talked to the h and received permission each time she escalated. She HAD CONSENT at the beginning AND ZERO REGRETS at the end. Sexual assault claims are serious and should only be levied in actual cases. When the word or insinuation is used when it clearly is not the case, it waters down true assault claims. I have an 18 year old daughter and hope that she never goes through it but if she does, I want the words and punishment to have significant meaning (if the perpetrator(s) is/are lucky enough to see a jail or courtroom, that is).
.. Some reviewers are lamenting the fact that the three some was MFF instead of MFM. From a guys perspective, two women seems more erotic and natural versus two guys taking turns on the woman (although I can see the appeal for a woman as the majority of guys cannot go on and on like an Energizer Bunnie). Being married for almost 28 years, sharing is not something I can do but to those who can, more power to you! ?
2. This is definitely a solid erotic romance and the author was able to build the relationship while still keeping a solid focus on the sexual aspect. Many authors have trouble in this area.
3. Muffy did an amazing job of narration. If you read the story, give it a listen.

The beginning gave me an impression that this would be a very different book (hard core? unfeeling?), and I’m pleased to say it took a turn for the best and stayed there. Especially the end. Its little surge of realism (office dynamics cannot be ignored) helped craft the satisfying denouement. Impressive beginning to a series I will definitely continue reading.

In my opinion this was actually more interesting than Initiation et al. The only story in the Filthy Rich Americans series that can compete with this is "Redemption".  I loved everything about "Three Simple Rules" except Blake and the choice of threesoome partner.

Blake
Blake was annoying, selfish and confused the exact kind of guy both Rachel and  his girlfriend oughta stay away from. You can't take 6 years to decide whether or not you are in love with someone thenwhen you finally do and she rejects you, you then decide you are definitely in love with the person You have been dating all along ??‍♀️

Threesome Partner
I also didnt enjoy the threesome scene. I am not against sexual exploration in that way but I wish they had chosen someone they won't be spending time with for the rest of their lives Tara for example. Who they chose made me feel that people are becoming more and more callous such that no boundary will remain uncrossed in their sexcapades if humanity continues on this path. I did not like that part??

Evelyn and Logan
I loved Evelyn and Logan. They went through a lot  but to me it seems they were a team right from the beginning working together to sort out the ad campaign. They made it seem like nothing is insurmountable when two people really love each other and well coupled with the chemistry, the humour and the steamy scenes it was definitely one of my favorite stories.

Genre
I read one review in which the reader was struggling to come to terms with why it was categorised as erotica. I think given the way the tory unfolds it is most definitely an erotic novel but also a sweet contemporary office  romance both rolled in one. Kudos to the writer especially because it was her debut ??

Narrator
The Narrator Muffy Newton has a good voice and her impression of the male voice is not as grating and irritating as most female narrators' male voice impressions it is actually quite good.???
