We’ve all heard the phrase, “you are what you eat” and studies now show that there is more truth to this statement than we thought.  Our food and beverage consumption has a huge impact on our overall health and quality of life.  Over the past decade, information about nutrition has become more easily accessible, and consumer spending on wellness has significantly increased.  However, disease rates continue to rise and the health of society as a whole continues to decline.  It’s clear that we still have more to learn about proper nutrition and how we can implement better dietary choices into our lives.
