[10:41] Bob talks about his family background, noting that he was a middle son in a "theatrical" family. He left with a friend to join Fidel Castro, but they got rejected. [14:14] Bob explains how he finally met the Dalai Lama, thanks to his Mongolian teacher. An accounter that will allow Bob to become a Buddhist monk later, even a purist one. He studied Tibetan medicine, which cultivates diagnostic intuition. [21:36] : Bob spent four years as a monk in Argentina. He then traveled to the US during the anti-Vietnam protests and became an activist monk. However, he had to resign, and he explained how difficult it was to break his vows.
