No one else knows the promises you make to yourself inside your head. Thus, no one will know if you ever follow through with them. You can easily give up, not follow through, or create new ones without any pressure, judgment, or criticism for doing so.  

It is easy to tell others your big goals, dreams, and objectives in life to hold yourself accountable, but ironically it is also easy to not follow through with them. 

What is harder, yet more prideful is when you execute on your vision, the promise you made, when the only one who knows is you. This teaches lessons in discipline, work ethic, motivation, and accountability that can only come from within to achieve what you set out on. ?

Follow through with the promises you make to yourself. This is what discipline means to me. ?
