Description
Life lessons from the out breath. The exhale shines and spotlights many life lessons. The exhale is passive– the diaphragm relaxes in order to come back to a neutral position to push out the air from our lungs similar to our heart’s diastolic cycle- the relaxation allows the heart to nourish and feed itself. The out breath is a reminder of the many circumstances that you can simply let happen for you, rather than you trying to control. A common guided part of breath meditation is to envision that which does not serve you in the moment to be sent out in the outbreath, as a literal and figurative release and letting go. What aspects of your life are you not paying attention to, that you are letting simply happen that if you paid a bit more attention to might pleasantly surprise you?
