Description

This week on Beer Sessions Radio, Jimmy Carbone is joined by beer royalty – Baclav Berka, Head Brewer of Pilsner Urquell! Pilsner Urquell is a 173-year old Czech brewery. He’s only the sixth man in Urquell’s history to hold this title. His father worked in the Urquell fermentation department so it’s somewhat of a family business for him. Learn about the history of the brewery, Belgian brewers and pilsners as Baclav tells some incredible stories on-air. Jimmy is also joined by John LaPolla of Bitter & Esters and Paul Walsh of Belgian Beer & Food Magazine. This program was brought to you by Union Beer Distributors.
