Description
Crying and Baby Sleep
With Calm and Bright Sleep Support- Eve and Gem
If you are anything like me then hearing your baby cry is like someone pulling your heart from inside your body. Your gut instinct is likely to instantly pick them up, cuddle comfort, feed or rock. There are two notions that seem to exist- one in that this is the right thing to do to respond to your baby and develop deep and secure attachments and then there is the idea that perhaps we shouldn’t rush in, maybe we should even let them cry?
On this weeks episode I am joined by two women who in the eyes of many parents, mine included, are sleep angels. Eve and Gem, founders of Calm and Bright Sleep Support @calmandbrightsleepsupport, sisters and mothers to 8 children between them. Eve and Gem believe in empowering parents with solid sleep and believe it is achievable for all, but they also have a very unique take on age-appropriate responsive crying that you may not have heard of before. www.calmandbright.co.uk
