Description
Glen Coe Skyline ladies winner and Merrell athlete Georgia Tindley was this week's live guest on Wild Ginger Running trail & ultra running YouTube channel.
Georgia is a total pro at running over rough ground, scrambling, and power-hiking up steep hills like she did in this epic 52km Scottish race with 4750m of ascent.
We talk about how to train for such a technically difficult race, especially if you don't live in the mountains. We cover pre-race nerves, pacing, gear, downhill technique, nutrition and how to use visualisation when everything hurts. She also reveals that she is fuelled by a very particular type of sandwich, but as yet is refusing to reveal her great great great grandmother's secret recipe…
Follow Georgia on Instagram @gTindley and on her blog georgiatindley.com to see what she does next!

Patreons also get freebies, discounts and training plans, plus automatic entry into my monthly competition to win £400’s worth of trail and ultra running gear. There are only about 140 Patreons so the odds on a win are way better than the lottery. What is not to like?
