Matt Kempson is a professional OCR athlete who has a vision. He wants to push people out of their comfort zone to increase the quality of athlete in OCR. Matt believes that athleticism should be the goal of every participant on the course and wants to incentivize them to perform at a higher level. He has also led by example by moving away from a successful athletic career as a long course racer to focus mainly on short course races. Matt is a deep thinker about the sport and has some well throughout opinions that he shares during the episode. On top of his athletic prowess, Matt is also an engineer who has been designing obstacles from scratch.
