Ever since we landed in England, Jenna had been on a mission to scour antique shops. Collecting peculiar trinkets had been her passion for as long as we had been together, so it came as no surprise when she couldn't resist continuing her quest even while on vacation. Curiosity piqued, I couldn't help but ask her, So, what did you find this time?

She gave me a mischievous smile before replying, Take a look.

I reached into her bag and pulled out a handful of tiny metal animal figures and an intriguingly odd bracelet. Examining the bracelet closely, I tried to decipher the intricate carvings etched along its side. What exactly is this?

Jenna merely shrugged. No idea. It captivated me so much that I just had to buy it.

The bracelet consisted of two brass half-circles connected by a hinge, devoid of any apparent clasp or means of closure. How on earth is it supposed to stay in place?

Leaning in, Jenna retrieved the bracelet from my hand. No clue. Once we get back home, I'll have a blast unraveling its history. She fastened the bracelet around her wrist, keeping it securely shut.
