HEY BEAUTIFUL. HOLD up, wait, I'm not trying to flirt with you. I'm already taken. And when I say beautiful, I'm not saying it in an aesthetically pleasing way because, first, I can't see you. Still, when I say beautiful, it is because God says that you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and if that isn't beautiful, then I don't know what it is.

Rather, it is spiritual empowerment which allows her to fulfill her role according to God's plan. Any woman who seeks it and works towards becoming the best wife she can receive this blessing. Traits including selflessness, patience, love, respect, devotion to both husband and God, ultimately surrendering herself completely to His will while allowing Him to work within and through her for an effective marriage relationship are all attributes of a great wife.

This book holds the key to unlocking your inner wife. Contrary to popular belief, you don't need a wedding ring to assume this role. In fact, the Bible never says finding a husband benefits woman. It is also clear that men aren't automatically made husbands simply by virtue of marriage. Rather, women were created specifically as their helpers (Genesis 2:18).

I am certain that when a woman marries, she is anointed with divine power to transform that man into a husband, provided he is willing. The Bible states clearly: For this reason, a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh (Genesis 2:24). Did you catch that? The passage doesn't call him a husband, but it calls her a wife. And for what purpose? To lead a man on a journey of cleaving to his wife and ultimately becoming a husband himself so the two can become one.

In many ways, women are like cutting-edge smartphones with all the latest features designed to simplify life. All that men need to do is learn how to activate and utilize these incredible abilities and features properly.

Some of you may be wondering, Why should I be responsible for turning a man into my husband? Why do I have to do all the hard work? Go ahead, roll your eyes, and shake your head in disbelief, but let me tell you something. God gave you a unique anointing. You possess an innate ability to nurture, nest, and provide insight, which makes you a powerful asset. When I look to the Bible for guidance, I see two passages that speak to the process of building a home. One that focuses on the man's role and one that focuses on the woman's role. So, whether you like it or not, it's your responsibility to use your God-given talents of support to build a strong and loving home.

In a future book, I will explore men's experiences as they embark on their marriage journeys. But for now, this book is dedicated to you, the wife. You have an empowering calling and anointing that can shape and transform your marriage and your husband or future husband. Let this be your guide as you embrace the divine mission and unlock the full potential of your union.

Unfortunately, this book was not created to sugarcoat the fact that not every woman was created to be a wife. Sorry ladies. However, I do believe that every woman was created to be a help meet (Genesis 2:18 KJV). The problem is that many women confuse being a wife with being a help meet. Allow me to clarify. You were designed to be a help meet to mankind, and if a man recognizes the wife potential in you, he will marry you and obtain favor from the Lord. But if you don't understand the difference between a help meet and a wife, you might end up marrying someone you were only meant to assist, making you high risk for becoming subservient within the marriage. This book will help you discover your true role as a woman and how to navigate the complexities of relationships.

Let me make this crystal clear. Your worth and purpose in life does not solely revolve around being a wife or a mother. I want everyone to hear this, especially those in the back, "YOU WERE NOT ONLY CREATED TO JUST BE SOMEONE'S WIFE! Or anyone else's mother. I firmly believe that marriage isn’t for everyone. Even Jesus himself acknowledged not everyone is mature enough to live a married life. It requires a certain aptitude and grace. After explaining the high cost of marriage to His disciples, even they agreed that it's better to avoid it and live a life of holiness and celibacy instead. Jesus also acknowledged that not everyone is ready or even given the power to be married. (Matthew 19:10-12).

After counseling countless women on relationships, it has become evident to me that many desire the title wife without being ready to fulfill it. Don't get it twisted! There's a distinct difference between being married and being a wife. Anyone can throw an elegant wedding and sign a piece of paper, but only God Himself can truly transform you into a wife (Proverbs 19:14). This book isn't some magical formula that will automatically make you a wife. Rather, it serves as a guidebook to help you become the best wife you can be.

Many people focus on the perks of marriage without fully understanding its purpose. But don't worry, I've got you covered. In this book, I'll explore the true meaning of marriage and offer insights into how to make it work for you. So, let's get ready to face this battle together and emerge victorious. But be warned! Before you dive into this book, please be aware that there will be some major F-bombs. No, not the kind you think. I’m talking about FACT-bombs! Most of what I say will be generalizations. So, if something doesn't resonate with you, just keep reading until something really hits home.

Prayer For God’s Will

Dear God,

I come before You today with an open heart and a willingness to listen to Your voice. I pray that You would guide me as I seek to understand if You have called me to be a wife and help me let go of any preconceived ideas or expectations about what that means.

Lord, I recognize that my ideas about being a wife may be limited or influenced by the world around me. I ask that You help me to see this role through Your eyes and to understand the unique purpose and calling that You have for me.
