The aches and pains that afflict the majority of senior citizens will be less pronounced or even missing entirely from you. Flexibility means less chronic pain, which means better balance. Better balance means you’re less likely to fall over, which as a senior increases the risk of fractures and more significant health concerns. The flexible among you are also less likely to suffer injuries, such as muscle strain and very common back issues. Flexibility even helps mitigate the effects of arthritis.
