About this ebook

Julia never intended to cheat on her husband, Max, but when the chance came the petite redhead's way, she found confessing her indiscretions had its own advantages. It might not have been the conventional way to spice up their marriage, but it worked.

It starts raining hard as she's halfway to work. She hasn't got a coat nor an umbrella, and it's a couple of hundred yards in the open from her parking place to her office, in a white cotton shirt and no bra. It's a good job there's a Good Samaritan on hand.

Bridy McAvoy

My name is Bridy, and I live in upstate New York. I’ve written for as long as I can remember, which is thanks to my parents for teaching me to read and write before I went to school. I’ve been fascinated by erotic tales all my adult life, my husband thinks they’re silly but indulges me. I won’t tell you how old I am because a lady never gives away her age. My other interest is photography, but writing will always be my first love, other than my husband of course.

    Julia's Umbrella - Bridy McAvoy

    Dedication

To everyone who helped me write this. Especially my husband who encouraged me to explore my fantasies in print.

    Julia’s Umbrella

Max grinned at her. For someone who hates sports, you’re getting into this game in a big way.

Julia shrugged. Maybe because I think that first baseman is cute.

I don’t think so. I think you expect the Cougars to win.

She shook her head. No. The Bulls by two, at least.

Want to make a bet on it?

Julia tore her attention away from the TV and shot her husband a look. It was late Saturday afternoon and they had originally intended to go out for a meal, but after a hard afternoon’s graft weeding and sorting out the flower beds in the backyard, they’d decided to stay home and order in.

I’m not betting the spread. Anyway, what kind of stakes did you have in mind? She smiled at him, letting him know without words that she was prepared to play. They never bet money with each other, preferring instead to be inventive and indulge a fantasy, usually the winner’s.

I don’t know. What do you think?

Well, you could do the laundry in the nude.

Max laughed. I can’t see much laundry getting done. You’d forever be molesting me. Besides, I’ve seen you do the laundry in the nude before, and so if I win it would have to be something different.

I wasn’t suggesting that, but what did you have in mind?

I dunno. Haven’t really thought this all the way through.

Well, you’ll have to hurry. Bulls are up one and that’s the end of the seventh.

Okay, how about this? If the Bulls win, I spend tomorrow evening doing whatever you want me to around the house, while only wearing speedos.

Interesting. I’ve still got that list of chores you didn’t get done last week.

Hardly my fault. I wasn’t the one who forgot to take her purse to the restaurant so had to be bailed out—or was that balled out, then bailed out?

Max! I’m trying to forget that.

He grinned at her again. I’m not. I thought it was hawt! Especially when I found out what you had done and you still had to go back to work.

Stop it. It was bad enough when I had to claim the charge back when it was on your credit card.

I still don’t know why you didn’t just ring Josie. She’d have handled it discreetly for you. The two of you are good friends, after all.

And we both know that Josie is a very special friend for both of us. She had a day off that day. Which reminds me, were you actually doing the lawn that lunchtime, in the hottest part of the day, or had my best friend come over, and you were doing her?

Suddenly, he dived along the length of the couch, grabbing her and pulling her into his arms. His fingers found her ribs and started tickling. She shrieked and tried to pull away, but she couldn’t escape. After a couple of minutes he stopped, leaving her pinned underneath him, breathless and still giggling.

    That’s not fair.

"And nor is accusing me of fucking another woman without
