About this ebook

Julia never intended to cheat on her husband, Max, but when the chance came the petite redhead's way, she found confessing her indiscretions had its own advantages. It might not have been the conventional way to spice up their marriage, but it worked.

Julia's new neighbor had asked her to help get everything ready for a house warming party for her and her husband. Julia somehow forgot. In a flap, she makes a rash promise to help them in any way she can. They have a solution that places Julia right where they want her.

Bridy McAvoy

My name is Bridy, and I live in upstate New York. I’ve written for as long as I can remember, which is thanks to my parents for teaching me to read and write before I went to school. I’ve been fascinated by erotic tales all my adult life, my husband thinks they’re silly but indulges me. I won’t tell you how old I am because a lady never gives away her age. My other interest is photography, but writing will always be my first love, other than my husband of course.

    Julia's Memories - Bridy McAvoy

    Dedication

To everyone who helped me write this. Especially my husband who encouraged me to explore my fantasies in print.

    Julia’s Memory

    Would you like another coffee?

No, thank you, Samantha. I’m fine. If I drink any more I won’t sleep tonight.

I’ll let you off then. Julia’s new neighbor laughed and put her own empty cup down on the countertop. Now, are you sure about next week?

Positive. In any case, as I said, Max is away ʼtil Tuesday of the following week, so helping you will give me something to do instead of moping around the house on my own.

It’s only finger foods, but Ryan wants to make sure we’re over-catered and not under-catered.

I’ll be round about ten Saturday morning, okay?

    Thank you.

No problem. It’ll be nice to see everyone. Listen, I have to go. Got to sort out meals for the week. I tend to make them in advance when I’m on my own.

It must be awful having Max away so often—lonely.

Julia shrugged. Sometimes, sure, but it has its compensations too.

    Oh?

Julia chuckled, deciding to double-check how open-minded her new neighbor was. She didn’t think Samantha and Ryan would be open in the same sense as Grace and Bill had been, but she hoped they wouldn’t be prudes. He tends to be very affectionate the night before he leaves, and for at least a couple of days after he gets back.

Samantha laughed and gave her a wink. I know what you mean, but at least Ryan doesn’t have to travel with his job.

Max also gets paid well for the job he does, and he gets a lot of holiday time—unfortunately, more than I do, so sometimes he’s the one at home on his own.

    Samantha grinned. Not alone.

    What do you mean?

Alone with a long list of chores.

Ah, right, for sure. They both laughed. Julia felt more and more at ease with the young brunette every time they met. Her husband, Ryan, she’d only met twice, and she hoped he wasn’t the kind to rub everyone up the wrong way—the way Bill had before the previous couple sold up and moved north.

    * * * *

As she walked across the connected driveways from what was now Samantha and Ryan’s house to her own front door, her neighbor the other side of the street was mowing his lawn again. He was always out there.

She waved, and he cut the engine on the machine and walked over to meet her.

Morning, Julia. Looking as good as ever.

    Stop it, Steve.

The older man used one hand to wipe the sweat from his forehead.

Going to be a hot one.

    Sure is.

    Perfect tanning weather.

She eyed him suspiciously. I’ve never known you to tan.

    I don’t. But I know you do.

So what are you angling for this time, Steve? A chance to stand in my kitchen with your camera and snap me sunbathing in my garden, or did you want me to come over to yours so you can get closer with your lens?

He flushed but carried on. Well, it has been a couple of months since you let me take any pictures.

And they were on my camera.

"I’d take them on your camera
