Social networks (or social media in Spanish) are red hot. Television programs, specialized magazines, courses, books, workshops, conferences, films,... even the personal life of the founders of some social networks has overflowed the pages of the tabloids and many television news.
Are social networks a new phenomenon? Technically no, since Facebook was the first big social network launched in 2004, but there was life before Facebook.

Two key elements that we can highlight:
✔ Increase the speed of Internet access, thanks to which the content that circulates on the network is increasingly multimedia and therefore more attractive.
✔ The rise of mobile devices that allow us to consume this content anywhere, eliminating the slavery of having to sit in front of a desktop PC screen.
And how do companies benefit from this? Well, among the contents consumed by users are also those of a commercial or promotional nature.
