Hello and welcome to Find Your Purpose, Live Your Freedom, a course from Scribd Coach. I’m thrilled to have you join me today. My name is Davina Ware.

Do you ever feel as though you’re stumbling through life, unable to get a firm grasp on your personal or professional endeavors? You feel surprised when good things happen to you or when you feel connected to your work. Because you lack clarity on your purpose, you can’t seem to achieve forward momentum. You’re left in a cycle of longing, stagnation, and missed opportunities that prevent you from using your gifts and talents throughout your daily routine.

What holds us back from moving in our purpose? The sad truth is that we are often our own worst enemy. Whether we want to admit it or not, most of us prefer to be comfortable over being impactful. And true powerful change requires us to be outside of our comfort zone. That’s because walking in our purpose takes courage that challenges our intellect, beliefs, and social circle to come up higher. The danger of staying where you are is that it will eat up your purpose. Unless you resolve within yourself to be open-minded and flexible, you will never reach your full potential. A life lived with purpose starts with the willingness to change.

The purpose of this course is to cut through all of the distractions and walk in your purpose. And it doesn’t require special tools or new skills. The arsenal of skills and talents you already have are all you need to guide you through this process.
