Introduction

Welcome! We’re so glad you’re here. And because you are, I’m going to make a couple of assumptions about you. You probably either want to start a business and want to partner with God while you do so, or you already have a business and want to increase divine activity in and around it. Or maybe you have a ministry but want to make sure the fundamentals are in place to manage that mini stry well.

You’ve come to the right place.

And maybe with all the crazy in the world, you want more control and autonomy over yourself and your life than is possible in a traditional career path. We’ve all experienced a lot of change in 2020 and 2021, and more may be coming. This can be a great opportunity for advancement and success for those able to follow God’s lead and tap into his supernatural wisdom and revelation.

Seneca and I have more than eighty years of experience between us in sales, side hustles, and businesses, starting from when we were kids. It took me longer than Seneca to recognize that was God’s design for my life. I always hated selling other people’s stuff for band and clubs and all the things, which held me back from going into business as an adult. Recognizing the enemy’s lies has been critical in making progress in the areas where God’s gifted and called me.

I wasn’t created to run a business the regular way, but could I connect my abilities with God’s wisdom and guidance for a supernatural business? Yes, please!

Throughout this book, Seneca and I pool our expertise and help you partner your business with God so you can have a supernatural business. And if you have a ministry, the bones and guts of a ministry are very similar to those of a business. You’ll still want a website, want to share what you have to offer with your target audience, etc. Your tax status may differ, but you still want to manage your resources well.

Both Seneca and I provide services as well as products. We both work with Christians as well as those who don’t believe as we do. We both have online businesses although I also regularly work with people in person as well. We both seek to better the lives of our customers and clients through what we offer.

If you’ve been through other business and marketing books and courses, most of that training has probably been from the how to get people to buy my stuff school of thought. We want to create services and products that solve problems from a kingdom perspective and that provide a great life for us as well. Our desire through all that we do and offer is to help people achieve what God gifted and called them to do.

As we did this, we’ve had to confront a lot of false beliefs in ourselves as well as in the culture at large, and we’ve blazed a trail for you to follow that will be easier for you than it was for us. We love that, and we hope you rise to the highest heights of your gifting and calling.

Will we cover some of the general basics? Yes, of course. But we’re going to tune in with God for his desire for our websites, marketing, goal setting, and more. It’s a wild adventure, and we’re so glad you’ve decided to come along with us!
