We are continuing our series of articles on gatekeepers and watchmen in the Word of Abba Father, learning about their roles and responsibilities. In this article we are going to see what the Word teaches us about the definitions of gatekeepers and watchmen, as well as the differences between the two.
Taking a look at the definitions
If we look at the definitions of watchmen and gatekeepers in the Word, we see the most amazing pictures. Watchmen were posted to stand in the gap for the king in order to warn and protect people. They kept watch over everything – even over the fields and vineyards in harvest time
