Pastor Missionary Kodjo John Amedome is married to Kokoe, and both have been blessed with six children: Essi, Esenam, Akpedje, Elom, Mawuena and Madje. He is a graduate with a master’s degree of urban ministries from Urban Seminary of Atlanta, Georgia. He founded the Global Mission for Jesus Christ Ministries, Inc. He also has a television and radio program called Jesus Christ for All.

God’s hand has been upon me since birth. When I was a young boy, I nearly drowned in the ocean. People watching from the shore thought I was dead. Instead I was saved by the Lord God when someone pulled me out of the water. After receiving Jesus Christ and getting baptized, I was involved in a traffic accident in Lomé in the West African nation of Togo. The car I was driving north suddenly spun to the south and almost hit a tree. I immediately shouted out the name of Jesus Christ. The engine shut down and the driver and I got out of the car. The Lord had saved my life for a second time. People stopped their cars on the highway and were amazed to see that we had survived. Glory to
