The power of deliverance is a book that unveils the secrets and the activities of the kingdom of darkness to you and shows you how ones life is being hindered by generational curses and familiar spirits. Many today are being bound by demonic forces and their lives are being hindered by demonic spirits which have been operating in their lives and in their families for generations. Many today are being bound by the spirit of setbacks and limitation and nothing they do in life ever seems to prosper and their lives does not exceed certain level. When somebody is bound by demonic spirits they will continue to struggle in life without much success and their life will continue to be miserable and depressed.

In short it will surprise you to know that God has blessed you with abundance of blessings but the demonic spirits have blinded your eyes not to see them and they want you to labor in life without making anything meaningful out of your life. Ignorance is a terrible disease and the bible declares that people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. What you dont know can kill you and preclude you from receiving from God. One of the greatest weapons of the demonic forces is ignorance, and as long as people dont know then the powers of darkness will continue to control and manipulate their lives and stop them from enjoying the blessings of life. In fact discovery leads to recovery and once you know the secrets of the devil and his forces, your eyes will be opened to see things from a different dimension and your life begins to receive the blessings of God.

Many people today are being manipulated in their sleep at night and demonic seeds are being sown into their lives to control them without them knowing it. Indeed the demonic powers controls people lives through sexual dreams and by giving them demonic food to eat in their sleep and when this is done, then their lives begin to face many hindrances and setbacks. It is important to know that all demonic attacks are carried out in ones sleep at night and when demonic seeds are sown into ones body, then one becomes subject to demonic control. When evil seeds have been sown in ones life, then ones mind becomes a toy in the hands of the forces of darkness. So this book is written to open your eyes to the manipulations of the devil over your life and show you the way to be free and receive your deliverance and breakthroughs. Preface

It is true that many in life are really not living the life designed for them by God and they have allowed the devil and his demonic forces to preclude them from the riches of heaven and from the joy of life here on earth. The power of deliverance is written to break you free from every yoke of bondage and every generational curse that is hovering over your life and not making you to be what God wants you to be. Many in life today are faced with the spirit of limitation and backwardness and nothing they put their hands onto seems to prosper and this is simply because there are yokes of bondages blocking these blessings from manifesting in one’s life.

When our foundation is wrong everything else that is built on that foundation will not stand. Our foundation is our family line and the deeds and actions of our ancestors tend to define the foundation of our lives. For instance if the foundation of their marriage is wrong it also affects our own marital foundation as well. Many complications and sicknesses we are battling with today are passed down to us by our blood line and except we resort to deliverance, the situation will continue to persist and hinder our lives. In fact, we are all fighting our father’s and mother’s demons and these are generational spirits that have been assigned to afflict our lives and until we know this, we will continue to remain under the control of the demonic forces.

We need to understand that the devil thrives on making people to be ignorant to the cause and source of their problems because he wants to consistently control their lives and make them become miserable and dejected. Ignorance is the greatest disease that has ever faced mankind and all the troubles you are currently facing in your life today stems from ignorance. In fact the devil doesn’t want you to know the cause of your problems because if you know, you will be free. Knowledge leads to freedom and when you discover you recover. When you discover what is wrong with you no doubt you will recover from it. This book will certainly bring remarkable changes into your life and it will open your eyes to see from a different dimension and it will also liberate you from the shackles of the enemy and cause you to live a blessed life.

Once you begin to discover your foundational problem it sets the stage for you to break free from the troubles of life and then have control over your destiny and your future. Indeed our eyes needs to be opened to the devices of the devil and know how he controls and manipulates people and once we are aware of his devices, no doubt we will see progress in our lives. It is very dangerous to walk through life spiritually blind and not be aware of the forces of darkness that are controlling our lives and when that happens, one becomes hindered and one’s progress becomes retarded too. My sincere desire and prayers for you is that you become enlightened and see things clearly and be free from the powers of darkness and enjoy your life to the full.

CHAPTER ONE

Our God Given Blessings

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: according as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love (Eph. 1:3&4).

One thing we have to understand in life is that every blessing we need in our lives had already been provided by God even before we were born. In fact, God is not going to create any new blessings for us any more because He had already provided everything we will ever need in our lives.

Many times we spend hours upon hours praying to God to give us blessings or breakthroughs when as a matter of fact He had already provided all our blessings. Our problem is not the provision of God for us but our inability to receive by faith what God had already given to us.

The devil and his demonic powers have blinded the minds of people not to see the blessings of God and because we are blind to the realm of the spirit, we have become frustrated and disillusioned since our prayers are not being answered.

It will amaze you to know that the spirit realm is filled with so much blessings but the problem is that we are not well in tuned to that realm to call things into the physical manifestation. God is not cruel or unkind that He doesn’t want to bless us. He has already done that and we have to know how to receive these blessings of God.

It will interest you to know that God has finished His work from the foundation of the world. As a matter of fact, God is having His rest and He now wants us all to come into that same rest. The rest of God is a place of giving up every struggle and self-effort and begin to accept His finished work of Calvary.

For we which believed do enter into rest, as He said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although thy works were finished from the foundation of the world. For He spake in a certain place of the Seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the Seventh day from all His works. And in this place again, if they shall enter into my rest. Seeing therefore it remaineth that some enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief. Again, He limiteth a certain day, saying in David, Today if ye shall hear His voice, harden not your hearts. For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterwards have spoken of another day. There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into His rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from His. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief (Hebs 4:3-11).

When we understand the rest of God we will cease to have struggles and anxieties about life itself. We only struggle and go through anxieties because we have decided to leave God out of our experiences. The battle of life has been won for us and we need to walk in the victory and also in the abundance of God.

Every provision we need in life already exist in God and we have to know that God is the substance of all forms and in Him dwells all our blessings. In the Spirit of God exists abundance and God is never limited. And God doesn’t have to start making or creating new blessings because we prayed, no, He’d already made everything that needs to be made. In the spirit realm, there is no limitations neither is there any need that exists there.

It is so sad that we are living in lack and limitations when the heavenlies is filled with a lot of our blessings waiting to be received by us. Since we don’t have the knowledge of what we possess in the spiritual realm we have empowered the demonic powers to hijack these blessings.

In the scripture we quoted at the beginning of this chapter God indicated to us that we have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in the heavenly places. The heavenly places are the realm of the spirit where things exist in their spiritual entity before becoming a material entity. As long as we are called the children of God we have the rights and the authority to partake of these blessings in the heavenly places. These blessings are there waiting for us to receive them. In short we have wasted many hours of our time praying and begging God to bless and meet our needs when He had already done that.

What we really need in our lives is awareness to what obtains in the spiritual realm and if we have this knowledge then we will constantly be in the place of receptivity to receive these blessings. Knowledge is very important in life because when we know and our eyes are enlightened then we will constantly be flowing in the abundance of God. When we walk with God He will endow us with spiritual knowledge and we will exude with His power. ‘My people perish for lack of knowledge" (Hosea 4:6).

In fact the forces of darkness thrive over people’s lives because of their ignorance and ignorance is a terrible disease that would rob you of your own God given blessings. God had made us princes and queens but we have allowed the devil and his demons to manipulate our minds and rob us of our rightful status in God. Some of us are living as beggars and defeatists when we should constantly be on top and be victorious.

God from the beginning of time made us in His image and likeness and put every quality that He possesses is us and made us to be like Him. We are the express image of God and in God there is no lack or limitations and God possesses all fullness within Himself. And this fullness of God is also within us and we are not supposed to be in lack or expressing any ounce of limitations whatsoever. We do possess the Godness of God and we are supposed to talk and operate like God. The bible says that God calleth the things that be not as though they were (Rom. 4:17). In other words God talks the faith talk. He speaks things from the Spirit realm into the physical realm. We also need to talk like God and begin to call our blessings from the spiritual realm into the physical realm.

Your ability to walk in the abundance of God will be contingent upon your desire to walk the faith walk. It is either one is living in fear and experiencing lack or limitations or you are walking by faith and experiencing the provision of God. The spirit realm responds to the confessions of faith which is the realm of God whilst the realm of the devil responds to fear and negativity.

When we are fearful we experience the things we are afraid of. If for instance you’re afraid of poverty, the demon spirit in-charge of poverty would respond to your fear and evoke upon you that spirit of poverty and your finances and material stuff will be attacked by these demonic spirits. Fear is not the portion of a child of the Living God and we are expected to walk by faith and in boldness. When we walk by faith, we will begin to accomplish what we never thought we could ever accomplish. The faith realm knows no limitation or lack and it is a realm filled with all sufficiency.

Yielding to God’s Commandments

Our blessings in God are guaranteed when we walk in His commandments. The blessings of God are embedded in His word and when His word abides in us then His blessings begins to flow into us. God’s blessings are tied to some divine spiritual principles and when these principles are applied it leads to supply. The first principle of God is rooted in love for God. When we have love for God, He then causes His blessings to overtake us. God blesses those who walk with Him in truth and in spirit.

When your love for God supersedes every other thing in life then you are getting yourself ready to be blessed. Delight thyself also in the LORD; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart (Psalm 37:4).

Your delight for God will cause the positive supernatural realm to respond to you. When you delight in God then your faith in God will be active and you will continue to receive supply. God’s word is replete with His blessings and the book of Deuteronomy talks about these wonderful blessings of God.

"And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God. Blessed shalt thou be in the City, and blessed shalt thou be in the field. Blessed shall be the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thine kine and the flocks of thy sheep. Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store. Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out. The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways. The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouse, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and He shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. The LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto Himself, as He hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in His ways. And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee. The LORD shall open unto thee His good treasure, the heavens to give rain unto thy land in His season, and to bless all the works of thine hand;
