About this ebook

Evil originates in our blindness, that bleak moment of indecision, where we do not know which way to go next, when we do not know whom to trust in, when we do not know what we really want, need, and desire or believe in again. We live in a dark world, where we need to light our path even at broad day light, we could slip and possibly fall the very moment we forget ourselves and blink the eye.

Because of evil,we have lost touch of who we really are,IS TIME FOR THE PEOPLE OF GOD TO RECONNECT WITH THEIR SPIRIT AND UNDERSTAND THAT OUR GREATEST TREAT IS WHO WE CAN BECOME,AND THE GREATEST BATTLE IS BETWEEN OUR CONSCIENCE AND OUR DESIRES..

Evil originates at that time when we pause in the middle of our journey,
when we stop and turn back, look into our past and remember all the things we once had, the joy we once felt and the friends we once had. But truth is,When you keep looking back, you miss some steps on your way forward and you may end up falling, with no one to help you up.the only thing you can do to save yourself is to reconnect with your spirit..

Ruth Owusu

My name is Ruth Owusu. What motivated me to write this book was how I came close to destruction and was saved by grace. At my age, I moved too fast, took risks that were bigger than myself. Each time I was caught in my sins, I would feel sorry, and GOD would deliver me, but eventually, I ended up again in even a worse one. I realized what evil could do to people because I was myself a witness. It would wreck you into pieces and ruin your life if you stay in it. It would make you something else altogether. Many souls perish out there. I cannot be with them all at the same time, so I write to tell anyone on the path I was to get back and return to Jesus because I have taken that path before, and it was rough, dark, messy, dirty, and sick. There is no tomorrow for us to decide because the time is now,YOU NEED TO LET GO OF SOME THINGS IF YOU WANT TO CONTINUE TO LIVE,YOU NEED TO RECONNECT WITH YOUR SPIRIT. It is true we wrestle against principalities, but I tell you, our greatest battle is against our desires and our conscience, evil and good. Let your conscience win,GET RID OF THE EVIL. GOD BE WITH YOU, Peace.

    Introduction

BUT THE LORD SAID TO SAMUEL

"DO NOT CONSIDER HIS APPEARANCE OR HIS HIGHT, FOR I HAVE REJECTED HIM, THE LORD DOES NOT LOOK AT THE THINGS PEOPLE LOOK AT. PEOPLE LOOK AT THE OUTWARD APPEARANCE, BUT THE LORD LOOKS AT THE HEART. (1SAMUEL 16: 7) NIV

How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word (Psalm 119:9)

If you will hide the word of GOD in your heart as you shall hide your valuable treasure, the enemy cannot lead you astray!

    Dedication

I dedicate this to the Alpha of my breakthrough and the Omega of my misery, JESUS CHRIST.

I am thankful to him for being my divine inspiration and help through it all even in times when I want to give up.

THERE IS NO GOD LIKE MY JEHOVAH, FATHER I THANK YOU FOR HOW FAR YOU HAVE BROUGHT ME AND WILL TAKE ME. LOVE YOU JESUS.

    Acknowledgements

I seriously do not know where to begin because there are so many people I want to acknowledge.

First person is my Pastor and his wife, REV. PASTOR EDWARD TAWIAH and PASTOR MRS. MERCY TAWIAH for their motivation and support given to me even though they never knew their words were preparing me for this road I must follow.

Secondly I acknowledge and thank my Spiritual Mother, DEBORAH LYNN HOWELL, AUTHOR OF THE SECRET PLACE THE SPIRIT RESIDES IN for building me up from afar and motivating me with her words like only a special mother will do, without you, I would never be able to make it this far, thank you Debbie.

Thirdly, I acknowledge the presence of my family and friends whose expectations of me forced me to produce the best in me in order to meet their demands. And I acknowledge you dear reader, for reading. Love.

    Foreword

"You Judge By Human Standards; I pass Judgments on no one, but if I do judge, my decisions are true, because I am not alone. I stand with the father who sent me. (John 8:15-16)

How often do we judge others without getting to know them better? How soon do we trust others because we believe they deserve the trust, only to be disappointed by them? A friend once told me, Christians are the most judgmental people on earth and I could not help but agree because as the light of the world, we ought to know better than just take one look at the appearance of a person to conclude that the person is a sinner or not.

It is true that Christians should behave in a manner that exemplifies the life of JESUS CHRIST, but now, the Church has become a Centre for the hunt of suitors and the display of fashion for the church members and a booming business to the Priests and ministers, yet however, if GOD who is the creator would not judge or condemn mankind based on our appearance alone but by the deeds of our hearts, then what power do we have to judge others, positively or negatively?

It would be a surprise to you if you were to know just how dark the human mind and heart can get; whiles you pray for GOD to bless and prosper you, someone sits, smiles with you and goes down to fast and pray for your failure, to the same GOD or a different GOD.

Whiles you pray for GOD to sustain your marriage, someone closer to
