    FOREWORD

It is no coincidence that during Jesus’s time on earth, people with all kinds of infirmities were drawn to Him. They had no problem exposing their broken lives, poor health, sorrows, pains, broken hearts, shattered dreams, and ruined homes. Crises existed then as they now exist.

The people all around found solace whether through trial and error, through someone else’s experience, or through divine pronouncement. Healing of different kinds happened, and as a result, people were sent joyfully on their way, even to sin no more. There were also those who were charged to take up a mantle, one that would help change the lives of others whom Jesus would use as His extended hands. Glory to God, troubles and trials were not always predestined to anchor us into the will of God; however, one would think that people would be more drawn to God after experiencing victory in Him.

According to Paul J. Jordan, a famous physician and a true believer in God, the Bible does not offer us its heroes wrapped in cellophane but with the dirt of life upon them. For example, ask the man in the street about David, and he will probably tell about his victories in battle, his worst defeat, or his murderous and adulterous life. In all these areas that David had trod, God had not forgotten his repentative heart, and so he was singled out as a man after God’s own heart.

When I observed the life history of some of the heroes of the Bible, I recognized some similarities and differences, but the manner in which God or Jesus brought them out in their situations are more similar than different from the spiritual and natural experiences of the writer of this book.

In her processes, she has developed fervent faith, confidence, and true love for God and His words—I have observed her strength, courage, and tenacity soar. Besides the experiences she shared with me, as I rummaged through the pages, I have uncovered life experiences, a heart of gold, and a woman’s desire to reach the lost at all cost. The passion of the writer for God is unearthed on every leaf of the book. This work will undoubtedly help a lost soul to find his passion for God, and it will help those who are following from afar to rekindle their flames for God.

    ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

I wish to express heartfelt thanks to God for enabling me to prepare this project. I remember when I began writing in 2012. I heard a quiet voice in the privacy of my soul that said, You need experience. Today my life is filled with colorful experiences. However, these experiences did not override my desire to continue on this good path. Thus, I thank God for these humbling moments.

Special thanks to Trafford Publishing Company and all categories of staff—namely, promotion, marketing, financing, editing, and publishing. A special thanks goes out to Kris, who was very consistent in her telesales and marketing effort to make sure I bought the Tablet Publishing Package.

Then I must say sincere thanks to my
