DOROTHY GRANT
Dorothy Grant founded His Hidden Treasure in 2019. This ministry was birthed out of her own journey of discovering her self-worth and walking in self-love. Dorothy has struggled with low self-esteem, depression, rejection, and abandonment growing up. As a young woman, she made a vow to honor God by "keeping herself" until marriage. As she grew up, going to school she was often made fun of and called names. She felt at times ashamed to even talk about the vow she made because of the ridicule she endured. However, as she grew in her identity in Christ and in her walk with God, she has managed to break free from the bondages of fear and insecurity that once skewed her perspective about her value, purity, beauty, and self-worth. It Dorothy is a CPLC, Certified Professional Life Coach. Her desire is to help women of all ages who have experienced shame and ridicule from their peers and in this world to receive the same freedom she has.

Dedication
I want to thank my Heavenly Father for getting me through this transition period of writing and fasting. This has been a humbling, stretching, growing, experience that I ever had to go through so far in my life. But I am thankful for all that has transpired. Thank you, Lord; you are my rock, my shield and strength. I could not have done this without you. To everyone who played a part in helping to get this book finished – whether you encouraged me, checked to see where I was at with it, or pushed me when I needed the tough love talks and encouragement – I thank you so much. You know who you are; I appreciate you with all my heart. To my fam bam (nieces) who have always encouraged me when I needed it the most, you have no idea how much you all have blessed me.
Love you all so much.

About the Author
Prayer
To all the women, young and old who reads this. I want you to know that God Loves you. YOU ARE LOVED, YOU MATTER, YOU’RE VALUED, & YOU’RE WORTH THE WAIT!
Father in the name of Jesus I pray for all who you lead to read this book. I pray against the enemy tactics, attacks in the mind, in every way shape or form. No weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises up against them shall fall. I pray for healing, strength, encouragement, hope, freedom, and boldness to take the necessary steps in their own journey that they may know their identity is in you God. In Jesus name Amen.
May all that reads this be blessed, may it encourage, uplift, inspire. Know that there is always a way out through Jesus, for He will never leave you nor forsake you.

Rubies: Do You Love Yourself?
"Your love, O Lord, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies. Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains,
your justice like the great deep."

o, when it comes to loving oneself, I had to ask myself this question Dorothy, do you love you? For a long time, I did not know what loving myself was or what that even looked like. I walked around not feeling loved by anyone, including myself. I did not even know how to love me at all. What did that mean? How do I do that? What does that look like for me? I struggled with feeling loved as a kid by my parents and my siblings. That is not to say that they did not love me, but I just did not feel the love from them. I am sure that you felt that way at some point in your life.
Looking back at my childhood, I realize that I was always a loner. I stayed to myself a lot. I had to do some soul-searching to be able to understand why I did not feel loved. I did not realize how much I cried and felt alone. But I did not even consider at the time that God was protecting me and keeping when I was a little girl. All I knew was
