()
About this ebook
Life’s roads have taken author Phyllis Fernandez through many ups and downs. She knows what it’s like to be joyful, happy, and content, as well as unhappy, discontented, and miserable. In Freedom without Limits, she shares the valuable lessons she’s learned during the journey.
Those lessons include:
You are who God says who you are and not the summary of other’s opinions.
You are in charge of your life and your destiny; it’s all about what you make of it.
Know who you are in Christ, and see yourself as how God sees you through your imperfections.
Don’t let others choose your dreams, visions, and destiny, nor allow them to steal or destroy them.
You can rise above all your limitations and fly free like an eagle with a smile on your face.
You are in charge; take control.
Fernandez was inspired to write this memoir as a testimony of thanksgiving to God for all the good things he’s done for her. She wants every heart to be blessed, inspired, and encouraged to know that God can touch and transform every life. His unconditional love and forgiveness bring healing and wholeness to everyone who seek him.

Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea: and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he says shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he says. CHAPTER ONE
The Reason For This Book
CHAPTER 1: THE REASON FOR THIS BOOK
My earnest desire in writing this book is to Honor God, with Thanks Giving, for all that He has done for me in my life, and bring Glory to His Name. If not for this very purpose, I would not be writing this book.
I want to take you through my life’s journey, and encourage you, how God’s Amazing Power can touch you, transform you and mould you to the person, He chooses you to be. I Pray that every heart be touched and inspired by reading this book for The Glory of God. There is nothing impossible with God. He takes the meek and make him the king.
I am Thankful to God for showing me, the way to the Truth. He has done amazing things in my life. He has been there all along beside me, carrying me through, when many times I felt alone, in the lonely roads of my life. Yet there was always this inner strength in me which made me stronger and bolder, each time I encountered challenges. I had failed many times to recognize, that it was from God. Now that I recognize it, I want to share my happiness with this world, knowing, how you can become an overcomer, and find your freedom with true joy and peace in Christ. This is one of my favourite scriptures. Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ, which strengthens me.
It’s only God, who can take you through, and make it through.Triumphant over your tragedies, Victorious over your failures, Strengthened from weakness, Joyful from grief and sorrow, bold-and confident from the fear of lack, insecurity, and intimidation. This is the driving force behind me to write this Book. I wanted to write a testimony of my life to inspire others. How I overcame my obstacles and found my freedom in God and Christ our Savior with The Power of The Holy Spirit.
Life’s roads have taken me to many paths of ups and downs. I know, what it is to be joyful, happy and content, as well as unhappy, discontented and miserable. Through all of this journey, the most valuable lesson I learned is, You are; who God says who you are; and not the summary of other’s opinions. You are in-charge of your Life and your Destiny, and it’s all about what you make of it,
Knowing who you are in Christ, and seeing yourself as how God sees you through your imperfections.
You are not the summary of other’s views, opinions, and suggestions. Who you are; what you can become; what you can achieve; what you are capable of; or what you can accomplish; is not for others to decide. Do not let others choose your dreams, visions and destiny, nor allow them to steal or destroy them. You are in-charge, you take control. Let no one steal your Joy, your Visions, your Dreams and your Passions. Embrace them, and pursue after them. Take charge, and take control. It’s your life; it’s yours to take and make it happen. God has declared you a champion already.
You can rise above all your limitations, and fly free like an eagle, with a smile on your face, when you know how much God loves you and wants to set you free. Free from every bondage the devil throws at you. Free from struggling to be perfect, free from struggling to please others. Free from disappointments and discouragements. Free from your imperfections. Your total freedom and peace comes only from God. The world will only point their finger at you, reminding you of your imperfections, your wrong doings, where you went wrong and how wrong you were. What you should and should not have done, what you could and could not have become, where you should and should not have been. Decades of my life, I wasted, not knowing the truth. It was all people pleasing and disappointments.
Sad to say, certain cultures and beliefs can push you to the darkest roads of your lives. You become the cause of family misfortunes. At least that’s what some believe. They talk about it over and over again; during family gatherings, during misfortunate times, when tragedy strikes, and so on. Unfortunately I became a victim of such beliefs. My parents never intentionally did any wrong. But again, they became the victims of such beliefs through friends and neighbours. It happened when I was born. My Dad lost his
