Anger is a negative emotion which is experienced by children and adults alike as a normal reaction to irritation by others in a negative manner.
The expression of the anger emotion in a negative way produces numerous unhealthy behaviors such as violence and aggression
When the anger overrules a person's emotions, it can make them destructive to themselves and everybody around them.
Anger becomes a problem only when the person does not manage it in a healthy way.
The angry emotion is not always a bad thing.
Being angry can help the person display the person’s concerns.
It can prevent others from taking advantage of the person.
It can motivate the person to do something positive.
The key is managing the anger in a healthy way.
The management of anger is termed anger management.
1. Most important to managing anger is to admit that there is a problem.
2. People who have major anger disorders will not see it.
3. They may persist down a path where they are continuously angry
4. Anger stops them from looking for the help they need.
5. The angry person will most probably experience loss of their family, their job and their own identity.
Anger management is devised to:
1. Help the person work out their anger,
2. Help them find out why they become so angry.
3. Teach the person methods to prevent them from getting angry as often or for very long.
4. Help them get a better quality of life and live a healthy and normal life.
Anger management methods are developed to help an angry person return to a healthy, normal existence.
1. Taking a time-out is believed to be a healthy management tactic.
2. A second example of a healthy anger management tactic is up to the angry person.
Even though the anger is normally brought on by an annoying situation or a confrontation with another individual, the anger really belongs to the person who is troubled.
Only the person who is experiencing the anger problems can regulate their fits of rage.
3. Another healthy anger management tactic is to look back on those circumstances that upset the person and try to find ways to make changes.
Finding the cause of the anger may assist the person to avoid those situations
4. A fourth tactic concerning healthy management tactics is to confront the person or the situation.
Talk to the person or people involved calmly to try to find out the source of the problem.
The angry person might actually find out that the whole thing was a misunderstanding.

Introduction
I have been writing medical articles for my blog: http://kennethkee.blogspot.com (A Simple Guide to Medical Disorder) for the benefit of my patients since 2007.
My purpose in writing these simple guides was for the health education of my patients.
Health Education was also my dissertation for my Ph.D (Healthcare Administration).
I then wrote an autobiography account of my journey as a medical student to family doctor on my other blog: http://afamilydoctorstale.blogspot.com.
This autobiography account A Family Doctor’s Tale
was combined with my early A Simple Guide to Medical Disorders
into a new Wordpress Blog A Family Doctor’s Tale
on http://kenkee481.wordpress.com.
From which many free articles from the blog was taken and put together into 1000 eBooks.
Some people have complained that the simple guides are too simple.
For their information they are made simple in order to educate the patients.
The later books go into more details of medical disorders.
The first chapter is always from my earlier blogs which unfortunately tends to have typos and spelling mistakes.
Since 2013, I have tried to improve my spelling and writing.
As I tried to bring the patient the latest information about a disorder or illness by reading the latest journals both online and offline, I find that I am learning more and improving on my own medical knowledge in diagnosis and treatment for my patients.
My diagnosis and treatment capability has improved tremendously from my continued education.
Just by writing all these simple guides I find that I have learned a lot from your reviews (good or bad), criticism and advice.
I am sorry for the repetitions in these simple guides as the second chapters onwards have new information as compared to my first chapter taken from my blog.
I also find repetition definitely help me and maybe some readers to remember the facts in the books more easily.
I apologize if these repetitions are irritating to some readers.

Anger Management
Everyone gets angry at some time in their lives.

It can come on in response to small irritants or major events.

Others have regular, intense outbursts and explosions.

The Incredible hulk has a great anger issue.
Once angry the mild mannered scientist becomes the Incredible hulk!
What is Anger?
Anger is a negative emotion which is experienced by children and adults alike as a normal reaction to irritation by others in a negative manner.
Anger is an emotional reaction to irritation or threats.
Anger can be classified as due to a mild or severe irritation.
It is dependent on the person, the situation and the effects on their emotions.
1. Some people tend to keep their anger to themselves, placing their negative emotions and displeasure bottled up.
2. Others fight back or become extremely defensive and even aggressive.
Anger may be a healthy, normal behavior.
Anger is a natural reaction to perceived threats.
It induces the body to release adrenaline, the muscles to tighten, and the heart rate and blood pressure to rise.
The senses might become more acute and the face and hands become flushed.
Anger has positive effects when the angry feelings help the person deal with a problem or concern with another person and correct the state of affairs.
Frequent incidences of angry or uncontrolled behavior in a person can a disorder, one that requires to be managed.
Causes of Anger
The cause may be genetic or physiological:
1. There is proof that some children are bad-tempered, sensitive and easily angered even at birth.
These feelings are evident from a very early age.
A study has also discovered that family background has a role to play.
Normally people who are readily angered derive from families that are disturbed, disorganized and not properly trained at emotional communications.
2. Another cause may be socio-cultural.
Anger is often considered as negative
People have found that it is all right to express anxiety, depression or other emotions but not anger.
As a result, the angry persons are not taught the method to manage it or utilize it constructively.
There are a few risk factors which can activate or add to anger:
1. Irrational actions of another person e.g. treating an animal badly,
2. An unreasonable incident e.g. favorite football team is beaten unfairly,
3. Stress and anxiety such as loss of a new job,
4. Anticipations of job promotion not being achieved,
5. Emotions of hurt caused by abusive words from employer or customers,
6. Poor respect from family or colleagues,
7. Humiliation by other colleagues or employer,
8. Shame as a result of being made a fool by a colleague,
9. Jealousy such as not being promoted
10. Sadness caused by the death of a loved one.
Certain bodily responses can happen when a person feels the emotion of anger:
1. Heart rate and blood pressure becomes higher
2. Breathing becomes quicker and shorter.
3. A person may also become flushed, hot and sweaty, begin to shake and clench his or her jaw.
Anger is an emotion that is linked to one's psychological understanding of having been upset, mistreated or denied and a tendency to react through retaliation.
Anger is a normal emotion that requires a strong painful and emotional reaction to a professed aggravation.
People experience anger:
1. When they feel that they or someone they care about has been hurt,
2. When they are sure about the nature and cause of the angering event,
3. When they are convinced someone else is responsible for that anger,
4. When they sense they can still influence the situation or deal with it.
If a person's car is dented, they will feel:
1. Angry if somebody else did it (e.g. another driver rear-ended it)
2. Sadness instead if it was caused by circumstantial forces (e.g. a hailstorm)
3. Guilt and shame if they were personally accountable (e.g. a person crashed into a wall out of temporary carelessness).
Normally those who observe anger explain its provocation as a result of what has happened to them
and in most cases the reported aggravations happen instantly before the anger incident.
Such explanations confirm an illusion that anger has a distinct external cause.
The angry person normally discovers the cause of their anger in the intentional, personal and controllable part of another person's behavior.
This justification is based on the instincts of the angry person who feels a loss in self-monitoring ability and objective view as a result of their anger emotion.
Anger can due to a multi-causal source, some of which may be due to remote instances, but people seldom find more than a single reason for their anger.
Anger experiences are rooted or cased within an environmental-temporal setting.
Disruptions that may not have affected anger at the start leave residues that are not readily recognized but that operate as a lingering backdrop for focal aggravations of anger.
An internal infection can produce pain which in turn can activate anger
Anger makes people think more positively:
1.
