MEET THE AUTHOR

Dory Robertson is a Minister of Pastoral Counseling; Ordained in Ocala, Florida, in June, 2008. Now a member of One Foundation Ministries, Ocala, FL

Born again in 1972, I began to read the Bible with Genesis. It seems I was taken into another world as I read of creation and the Creator. I couldn’t get enough. Hours every day I spent seeing a God of love but also a God Who understood what He had created.

Psalm 8:4 What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? .

2 Chronicles 16:9 For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. .

Oh yes, He sought me and brought me out of dread darkness into His glorious light [Colossians 1.12-14].

We have the opportunity now, to explore God’s truth, to search it out. It’s there plainly for all to see, to not be seduced by the evil one, and we all have the same choice. The truth of God’s Word will come to you as you read it. But the reality of God’s Word comes from studying it, comparing Scripture with Scripture. There are words in the Bible spoken by man, much of it questionable. But the true Word of God will have 2 or more witnesses, Old and New Testament. A Concordance will help you search. God has given us a wonderful resource of wisdom; that is His Holy Spirit.

John 14:26-27 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. . I am totally dependent on all the help He will give me So, I encourage you to research and compare as I have done in all my books. It is very rewarding; and please don’t take my word for it, study and compare, and take nothing out of context.

MY STORY

I was gloriously saved in 1972. I had just given birth to my 5th child and my 3rd husband gave all the signs of going out the door. I was saved 3 months after she was born in March. He did leave 15 years later. Out of this fire came a book called ‘He Never Came Back’. It took a long time for me to realize he wasn’t. God gave me an unconditional love for him in the middle of his unfaithfulness; so I really thought… but he didn’t. He died 10 years later.

My greatest stronghold was the fear of abandonment, so I also knew that if I did anything wrong God would also leave me. I tried to ‘follow the leader’ and began to believe everything that I was told. I also read The Late Great Planet Earth in 1972 and I went along with what everyone else believed.

When I opened the Bible, I could see and read about Life, the one thing that I was so starved for. So, I just began to devour the Word. One day I opened it and there on the page printed was Jeremiah 15.16.

Your words were found, and I ate them, And Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart; For I am called by Your name, O Lord God of hosts. Oh, how that blessed me. I didn’t know it then but God had a plan for my life and it was to devour His Word. .

Now at the age of 88, my own memory sometimes doesn’t recall as I want, but between God’s words and His Word, I will continue to write what He tells me. [John 10.27;15.14-15]. I don’t speak of these things to make myself important, but as other writers and speakers share their credentials, and where they get the authority to speak on any subject, well, even Jesus was questioned.

Matthew 21.23 When He came into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people confronted Him as He was teaching, and said, By what authority are You doing these things? And who gave You this authority? He didn’t answer their arrogance but the people who He was teaching, who wanted truth, He said, John 12.49 For I have not spoken on My own authority but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. .

We should never speak ‘in the name of Jesus’ unless He has given us the words. Certainly, I do not think I have the authority of Jesus, but He has promised to lead us into all truth. So I admonish my readers to do your own research instead of taking the word of others.

I share what’s next as for my credentials even as other writers and even Paul shared his.

In October 1996 I was at a prophecy convention; Pastor Bill Hamon’s Church. During a time of worship, I had a vision of a tool box much like the big red ones mechanics use. God said, ‘I have given you a chest – a power chest and the keys to every drawer. You will open them one at a time and use them as I direct. The first will be the Word’. He pointed me to -

Proverbs 2 The treasures of wisdom and understanding are found in the Word for the Lord gives wisdom. From His mouth comes knowledge and understanding. He stores up sound wisdom for the upright. Then He said, ‘I have planted a seed in you and I want to see My harvest. You are my seed’. (I’m so glad He caused me to keep a journal). Maybe you could also.

Jesus is the power chest. More drawers were opened down thru the years, but the first key opened the drawer to The Word. This should always be first. The Living Word and the written word; come to the laver - be washed by the water of the word. The treasures of wisdom and understanding are found in the Word. The second key was a deeper understanding of the Word.

Does the Word inspire or incarnate? The key to the Word of God is being able to relate personally to what it is saying. A relationship between you and the written Word brings about a relationship between you and the Living Word (John 1.1); to become flesh in you. There comes understanding the Word with your whole being; drawn into experiencing the reality of what it is saying. Relationship is experienced in body, soul and spirit.

That’s how the Word ministers to the believer; when truth - understood in the mind and heart becomes reality, it is a living thing that involves our whole being. Then came: Visions and Prophecy 8/07;

Deeper Understanding 9/02;

Discipline/ Intimacy 10/05; Love 10/07;

Revelation 12/07; Hope 12/15 and some others.

These things were in my life [in part] but on these dates they were accelerated.

Now please know my heart. I am not anyone special, only that God has claimed me as His own. God’s people have the same gifts, perhaps used in some different ways. These gifts are to equip anyone who will listen to the Spirit. Each one of us has an anointing to walk the path God has chosen for us.

Some gifts were made available to me in the ministry of counseling others as the Lord led me, to help them overcome many of their issues [1Cor 12.1-10]. It is wonderful to keep a journal to remember what God has done for you and in you; to remember. He gives to His people the keys of the Kingdom to open the doors that were meant for your life.

In 1987, God prompted me to begin writing what I realized were chapters of a book; 19 chapters in all. I never published this one. In 1992 He told me to begin to edit these chapters because they were really only an outline of what it would be. It was all about how God had changed my life; the book was named ‘Our Inheritance’. Transition came almost every day in some form; and I was so glad to be set free.

For 15 years after I was saved, God had been delivering me from the fears that taunted me all my life; and the deception I had lived under, as to what life was really all about and how God was restoring me into His image; foremost of how much He loved me. Then He had me to compile these chapters into several books; for instance, one book ‘The Love of Jesus’ has the chapters on love - 1. The Beginning; 2. What He did for me; 3. Teaches us to love our enemies; 3. His Love and ours [conditional and His unconditional]; and finally, 4. The love of Jesus brings us from law to grace.

All these from my original book. Several of my books were written and completed before the year 2000; but not published until 2010. That year I found CreateSpace, a publishing Company. It is now owned by Amazon.

One night I had a dream that Jesus stood before me and gave me a ring of keys. Some years later in 1988 someone gave me a big brass ring of ‘skeleton keys’, five in all [brass for judgment and five for grace]. I believe it was for God to open new doors in my life.

In 2006, God had me to write a book; A Word on Wisdom and Knowledge. He gave me a clear exegesis of what it was saying, If you are interested in having it, see the back of this book.

Revelation knowledge is available to all who will seek and search for truth. God warns us to not be deceived [James 1.16; 1 John 4.1]. Because of the insight, understanding and the leading of the Holy Spirit, I began to gather notes for my first book, 1996, The Temple of God Restored. It compares the rebuilding of the 5th century temple by Zerubbabel, and How God restores us to be His temple. It was completed but not published until 2010. This was the first book I published. Since then I have written and published 15 books besides this one. Remember Ephesians 4.11-16. Some of us are teacher/writers.

Even though God was working in my life during those years; except for God, I had no ambition to do much of anything. But after Mike left it seems I was alive again. God told me He was delivering me from a dead marriage and it seemed like I felt a coffin came off me; and as the years went by, there came a lot more deliverance from my painful past.

Changes Made - Transition

Into What God Created Me To Be.

2 Corinthians 5:17-18 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. .

Psalm 84:11-12 For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man who trusts in You! .

The Bible is not a ‘To Do’ list – its purpose is as Jesus told us. In the Gospel of John, Jesus shows us His Father over 100 times. And throughout the Bible, many more times. Jesus said, John 20.17 ‘I am going to my Father and your Father. Yes, He wants us to know Him. Read John 14. 20-23. God’s love for us is incomprehensible. We may not understand it, but we can experience it to its fulness.

In all my shattered brokenness A heart that never knew

A revelation comes to me, the experience of You

A moment when I couldn’t speak -

relations with another

Came to bring an emptiness, such shame,

Such guilt, to gather a broken soul into the depths

Of hell - that could only throw me into a well

Of self-hatred, grief and pain

But then there shown within my heart

A glorious light of truth

There really is a path to life

Redeemer, Lover, Friend - You

Healing there it came to me.

In brokenness I sing

Into the arms of faithful love

My Father - My Savior - My God

My King.

And You Will Share in My Glory

For as Long as I Am Your God.

INTRODUCTION

In The Beginning - God… All Things Begin With God,

The Lord of Life.

You have in your hand, a book that I hope will lead you to study THE BOOK. Confirming all these references will lead you to understand that God means what He says, because all this was and is - His Idea. This is how I learned the truth of His Word after I was born again 48 years ago, when I began to read the Word for myself. When I read any other book; and I’ve read a lot of books by Authors I believed I could trust to share the true Word of God; I did research to see if all was truly His Word, and where else can the Word of God be confirmed? Nowhere but the true Word of God.

ow it is vital to your spiritual health to get into the genuine Word of God, not the compromised bible that the cults have printed to keep their followers in deception and controlled by their leaders. God will always lead His people into truth, ask Him which Bible You should read

[2Timothy 2.15;3.16,17].

You must Know There Is No Other Gospel but The One That Has Been Preached since the Beginning, the Words of the Apostles and Prophets, As Given to Them by the Holy Spirit.

Galatians 1:6-10 I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bond servant of Christ. .

It behooves us all to follow Paul’s instructions as we become a witness to the Kingdom of God [Acts 1.8].

There are some controversial subjects written herein that must be inquired of; subjects that one view of them is stuck in people’s head and won’t give place to investigating. I am an archeologist digging into Scripture, for Jesus said,

John 8.32 You will know the truth and the truth will make you free. . I believe we must not continue to take other people’s word for anything pertaining to the Word, if it does not agree with the true Word after much investigation.

Proverbs 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a Smatter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter. .

God may hide His word but revelation is given those who will seek and search until he finds. Be careful that you don’t mistake your opinion for truth; or especially the opinion of others for revelation knowledge. God expects us to search out truth for ourselves. If we do, God will cause us to understand even the deeper things.

John 16:12-15 I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore, I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you. .

Do You Have the Spirit of Truth Living in You?

If You Don’t Know - Ask God. He Will Show You

And Lead You to What You Need.

God never leaves us alone, He is constantly drawing us closer to His heart as we will allow Him; and as long as we desire to know Him, He will reveal Himself through His Spirit to grow us up to follow the plan He has for us. Please read Romans 8 - God’s Holy Spirit will explain it.

We are responsible for what we believe, so we must know what the Word is really saying, for God promises us that we can ask for wisdom and it will be given freely to those who are sincere in their asking [James 1]. I strive to give the witness of the Word for all I have written. Feel free to give your witness… email in the back of this book.

Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Trust God - Prove all things. .

Please know that all I say herein, is backed up with the immutability of the Word of God. If it can’t be proven as His truth, I will not print it. His Word is confirmed by an oath.

Hebrews 6.17-18 This was so that, by two unchangeable things [His promise and His oath] in which it is impossible for God ever to prove false or deceive us, [Amplified Bible] [Even God has His two witnesses].

So, if we want to understand the Word of God as He reveals Himself, we must not be satisfied with ‘junk food’, a little here and a little there; but God has delivered to us a banquet - all of it to feast on. Reading and researching the New Testament that is verified in the Old Testament will satisfy your appetite for real truth.

We must Learn to Prove the Word By the Mouth of Two or Three Witnesses and Taken in the Context of Which it Was Written.

Deuteronomy 19:15-16 By the mouth of two or three witnesses the matter shall be established. .

2 Corinthians 13:1 By the mouth of two or three witnesses every word shall be established. .
