PREFACE

Ever since I was little, I wanted to do great things that would impact the lives of others in meaningful and effective ways. I had such big dreams in my heart but didn’t know how, or in what ways, they would come to pass. One thing I did know for certain, I would become an elementary school teacher. That was very clearly revealed to me by God’s Holy Spirit by the time I was in fourth or fifth grade. During that time, I shared that information with my mother and continued to declare it to others. My faith was strengthened every time I would hear myself speak what God told me on the inside. This was the beginning of seeing what was impossible for me to do in my own strength become completely possible through God! I once heard a pastor say repeatedly, Faith comes where the will of God is known. However, sometimes I have struggled with knowing what the will of God was for my life besides becoming a teacher. I had so many questions about my life, including specific questions as they pertained to teaching, which I needed answers to.

In this book, I share openly and honestly about my questions, how I heard from God through some exceedingly difficult times, and take us back to the truth that’s found in the Word of God. I have seen God do in my life and in the lives of others what no one else can, including walking my mom through a process of healing from multiple sclerosis!
