We live in genuinely profound days on the earth; there is a shaking happening that is reshaping the landscapes of politics, economies, and people’s human hearts. It was with honour and delight having had Martyn ask me if I would mind writing something to endorse his book The Days of Awe. As I began to read it I felt my spirit leap on the inside of me as the Words of the Book began to confirm in me the pattern that had been laid on the inside of me over the last 11 months waiting on God for new direction not having been able to keep my international commitments because of the pandemic. There is no doubt that God has pushed the reset button, as Father he is determined to find his people who have the fullness of him who fills everything in every way. And even if you don’t know what he’s doing God he does. A very clear word comes from the Prophet Haggai In chapter 2 as he reminds us that in a little while God would once more shake the heavens and the earth and the sea and the dry land and he would shake all nations, and what is desired by all nations would come and he will fill the house with his glory. God is going to get what he intended from his people, he promised Glory of the latter house would be greater than that of the former house. We know that the Glory is the weight of his presence. Who knows but if we keep doing things the way we will get more of the same .I love Martyn’s absolute commitment to Kingdom thinking. We are either going to continue doing Life the same as everybody else through their wisdom and wits and continue to be shaken or we are going to seek the Kingdom and God’s promise to all other things will get added to us. The difference between the former and the latter Glory is our hunger to see the Spirit of God moving in the marketplaces at homes of our cities and towns, There is a Governmental Anointing that God is releasing on the Body of Christ for the purpose of bringing justice and judgement to the nations, and I love the latter part of the verse it says O the Lord of hosts will perform it. (Isaiah 9:7) This is a prophetic declaration fulfilled in the New Covenant As a result of the resurrection Christ. Here in Martyn’s book. We see the end of an era and the beginning of a new one. A world wide reformation is about to take place. As the church begins to hunger and thirst for a fresh Fire of the supernatural so it can live from heaven to earth. I am confident that those that read this book will become refreshed and aligned for what God is about to do. Thank you Martyn for the time and effort to help us all move out of the past future.
