What’s the Word on a Christian committing suicide? I’m tired of this “Christian-oh-so-happy” mask that I’m wearing. I love Jesus and long to be with Him, so I need to know if I will spend eternity with Him if I decide to take my life.
Precious believer, you need to urgently talk to someone! Please see your pastor or a trusted counsellor today. Or call JOY! Magazine, we would love – 1 John 3:8. Trust Him to do that for you. It is the devil’s task to “ – John 10:10. Thoughts of suicide that are actively encouraged only assist him in his task. You must practice the Word and learn to think only on things that are approved by God, read Philippians 4:8 for a list. This battle is in the mind. Suicide tells the world that faith in God is futile and that He is powerless to help. What would be the point of spending eternity with a God like that? Your desire to be with Him speaks of faith in our great, kind, and merciful God. If you believe in Him, why throw your life away? Rather give it fully to the Lord to use as He will? He also has no time for “masks”. Be real and you will please Him.
