JOY! Magazine is wonderful

Thank you for your wonderfully illustrated Biblical series of articles that you regularly publish. I find that I can’t concentrate like I used to, and love the short, precise, and factual articles. I have learnt so much from reading them. I was fascinated to read why Jesus entrusted his mother to the Apostle John instead of his natural brothers. It’s so interesting. I also enjoy your Biblical characters. JOY! Magazine is a gift to the body of Christ. May you grow from strength to strength.

Revival in South Africa!

My neighbour blesses me with the JOY! Magazine every month – what an encouragement. I was especially filled with great excitement at Pearl Kupe’s article on South Africa, and say Amen to her prayer for the president. In 1994 so many South Africans fled from the country in fear of what they and many other nations thought would be a blood bath at the elections. They were virtually giving away their houses to get away. It’s amazing what fear does. But 28 000 Christians gathered at Kings Park Stadium to pray for The party that I voted for and have supported for 25 years did not emerge as the ruling party, but in obedience to the Word of God in 1 Timothy 2:2-4, I will pray and support the president. It hurts me that my brothers and sisters in Christ, who have so faithfully been praying, now complain and grumble about Ramaphosa’s dream. Even three of the top opposition parties who promised to support the president, who all three claim to follow Jesus, want a blueprint of his dream, which they refer to as a pipe dream. They ought to ask God to answer that question, as it’s not President Ramaphosa’s dream, but God’s dream for our beautiful nation. In Bruce Wilkinson’s book, , it says:
