About this ebook

The rapid end to the godlessness that we have been living in since the
beginning of time is here at last, at the precipice of the end of times.
The movie, The Day the Earth Stood Still, starring Keanu Reeves, is a
wonderful, though fi ctional, testimony to how the world, or humans,
respond to detrimental situations especially our own. Only when there is
tragedy or even doom do we change and try to save our own lives. There
are serious defi ciencies in genuine love, respect and reverence for the
Almighty God, our Father in Heaven, also in living as new creations of
born again Christians for Jesus Christ. It has tainted the Churches and the
written Word of God to the point that ministers, elders and clergy pretend
not to notice and even believe they are powerless to do anything about it
anymore. They have all let the sin fester for so long that the power of God
cannot live in the churches we build and the presents of the Holy Spirit is
not felt in them either. You will experience with me the memories of my
religious and spiritual experiences coupled with my everyday challenges
to show how this world changed from being lovers of God to being God
haters and what we must do to change and follow Him.

"Found in a Garbage Can" is a testimony of a young girl who through trial after trial grows spiritually and found that God was with her throughout her life.

The book starts speaking of time and the ages. It speaks on miracles and childhood notions that will cause you to remember.
That people will begin reading their bibles and with living the finest principles studies because they are life changing.
I recommend everyone that is able to read Found in a Garbage Can. This book will cause you to be moved by events have been though and the product of my change and obedience.

    About the Author

Tanya Elizabeth Partin Lawton developed into a real warrior for The Lord since her personal restoration unto the Lord. She does not hesitate to share her faith and let people know that she is a faithful disciple of and for Jesus Christ our Lord. She repented of her sin against the Lord God and was baptized into the Kingdom of Heaven in the year 1988 in October at the Lexington Church of Christ. Tanya has graduated and received her Diploma in Basic Ministry Studies from The Church of Seven Plains along with the acknowledgement that she has been ministering the Word of God to people since she became a Christian 24 years ago. She left the Church of Christ in 1996 but then she heard the voice of God calling for her to return and fulfill her destiny of spreading the Word of God. Tanya has not returned to her old life since 2010. She is God’s servant and is not a part of this world anymore. She is a worker for God that has heard the Lord say to her, Matthew 25:21 "Her master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ She is also the Minister of Women of Faith/A Spiritual Website. Tanya started Women of Faith on April 23, 2011 because of her love for God. She designed the website to be another forum for hearing the Word of God on how to live spiritual lives. There is nothing she desires more than to help anyone who in need of the Love of God and enrichment for the scriptures for the sake of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Tanya has been appointed by God to lead a Bible Talk called: The Soldiers of Christ, who will never turn anyone or anyone from any faith away from hearing the Word of God and help them to learn to live their lives for The Lord. Tanya is dedicated to the communication of God’s Word through this book because she feels that the Lord is going to use it to reach many people who have not heard His Word as of yet. She has written many other papers about the faith and God that she will be happy to share, when prompted and she loves all her readers and all who love God. Tanya is also a Christian Women’s Speaker and will always answer a call for her to speak the Word of God to any and every one. She grew up to preach and teach many people through the Word of God and even 2 of her family members came to the Lord Jesus Christ and also 4 very close friend. Tanya lives to love God and His Word more each day by sharing the good news and the goodness that she has found in Christ with the world. And to God Be the Glory!

    Forward

I am a Boston native and a woman who is one of many who are witnesses to the death, burial and resurrection of the slain lamb, Jesus Christ. This book will affect the way that people communicate their faith in God to others forever and it will change your perspective of church in general. Through this book you will find that God is calling you and saying, Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer me! God is talking to you and He expects you not to ignore Him. That is the most important reason to keep reading. By book’s end you will realize that God is calling you to faith that many are following to this day to His glory. You will also notice that God is reaching out to you in order to show you what your purpose is in life because of the sinful acts that we do daily and the acts that you see that I am testifying about here in this book. If you ask, Found in a Garbage Can has what many other publications don’t and that is a perspective on God from a child’s point of view to that same child’s faith in god as an accomplished adult writer from the word of God. I have a website, ‘Women of Faith/A Spiritual Website’ that I will always give advice about how to learn to live spiritual lives with God through Christ. I pray that you will continue to read these writings.

1 Corinthians 9:19 Though I am free and belong to no one, I have made myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible.

Paul said this after he was converted to Christianity trough a blinding of his eyes so he could finally see where he actually was in his relationship with God. He was a Pharisee of Pharisees. More religious and knowledgeable than anyone even the Christians yet, did not have God. He was bless by the Lord Himself with sight and grace for the rest of his days. For a long time I wondered what in this world I was here for and even though I did not have a relationship with God, because God put eternity in our hearts (Ecclesiastes 3:11), I knew deep inside that there was something that I was supposed to be doing with my life but I had no idea what it could be nor how to achieve it. I have found it in this message to you.

After 24 years of being a born again Christian, and not following God here and there, along with blossoming spiritually here and there, I have discovered my purpose in life! My purpose in life is a combination of two realities. One is Matthew 28:16-20 Go make disciples of all nations! This is a real and true vocation. What a milestone. If you have not come to this conclusion then you are not fulfilling the purpose and destiny that the Lord has planned for all of His children. The next half of the combination is to (Jeremiah 29:11) For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." God is saying He will use me, He will use us all. Finally I realize that for such a long time He has been trying to tell me and I wasn’t listening. Now I know and respond to Him daily. Will you?

Deuteronomy 6:5 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. Matthew 22:37

Matthew 22:37 Jesus replied: "‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ Mark 12:30

John 13:35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." Galatians 5:13

Galatians 5:13 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.

    Dedications

This book is dedicated to my God and His Son Jesus Christ for all Your acts of forgiveness that You gave me throughout my life and for deciding to create me and in Your image since before time began. You are the canvas I write on, the ink in my pen and these Words of Yours that I write will move the hearts of men forever. I pray to You that this book reaches the hearts of men and women all over the world. I am truly grateful for You and Your Son, Jesus Christ, Who died on the cross for my sins personally and the sins of the whole world. I dedicate this writing to You Lord and to the advancement of Your Kingdom, The Kingdom of Heaven. Amen.

This book is also dedicated to my Mother, Paulette Partin-Johnson, because she never had a gravestone and because of certain circumstances, I was never able to see her face ever again in this lifetime. I miss calling her on the phone and talking about any and everything. She always had time for me. I miss you and love you Mom and this is for you, too.

"I was raised by my Mom to have good manners and to treat people the way I want them to treat me . . . so in turn
