PREFACE
To my children, family, and friends, this is my personal testimony I found in Jesus, my story of hope, life, and my greatest love, that I write.
I hope you read all of this and share with my grandchildren and their children and friends. I believe what God gave me is special—possibly the only documented miracles like this in modern times. And if I did not really believe that, I would not write it. God is my witness.
The Lord asked me to write this book back in 1997, but I was distracted by things of this world—mostly work.
INTRODUCTION
Welcome to my testimony of how God revealed Himself to me; you may find it hard to believe. I will share documented evidence for everyone to see, confirmed to me by His spirit in a personal relationship that took twenty-five years to build, moment by moment and day by day, and it’s still ongoing. In the beginning when I experienced these thoughts and voices, I was not sure if it was God or just my thoughts. But after years of confirmation and different conversations with the Spirit of God, the documents God gave me proved that it was God, because no human has the ability to control time, space, and matter, as you will see.
As time went on, I started to discern between good and evil, the voice of God and my thoughts. Being attentive to the Spirit of God speaking to me led me to my salvation and also led me to having a closer relationship with Jesus. Eternal salvation, everlasting life in heaven, with Christ, is my greatest miracle.
Anyone can understand what I am going to say; I’ll explain it in easy words, and the Holy Spirit will fill in the blanks for you.
On the day of Pentecost, Jesus sent the Holy Spirit, like a mighty wind (see Acts 2), breaking the barriers of language and giving the people understanding through His spirit because there were several tribes where people spoke different languages. In today’s world, we still have His Holy Spirit giving us understanding, and of course, they write Bibles in all different languages so the language barrier is not a problem. There is a passage where Jesus calls the Holy Spirit, the Comforter. The Holy Spirit works in us to guide us and lift us up; to explain God’s Word; and to give us discernment and comfort during times of trouble. Not only did He break the barriers of language, He gave the gift of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost. Through the Spirit, God teaches us things humans do not have the ability to teach or show us.
Some readers may know a lot of the things I will be sharing. I hope first to help those who do not have much knowledge about the Bible or God. I was thirty-seven years old before I knew anything about the Bible. I promise, as you read about my experiences with God, you will understand why I say it is unbelievable. Trust me, even today, I think what God gave me is just out of this world; it’s unthinkable. But then again, I know we serve a mysterious, out-of-this-world, loving God, full of grace and mercy and strength.
I love to read about experiences other people have had with God and how He finds His way into the life of His people. His methods are impossible for humans to replicate. God works in infinitely powerful ways, breaking all the human barriers like time, matter, and space to achieve His will. God does unbelievable things, and it is easy to know it was the Lord who did them. God did things in the past and showed people He can predestine our future. When you see God’s hand at work or something has manifested for the good of your life, you should believe by faith God did it and be thankful. Hebrews 11:6 (KJV) says, And without faith, it is impossible to please God: because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.
Faith is believing without seeing. Jesus said, Blessed be the man who has seen and believes, and bless the man who has not seen but still believes.
I think He was talking about people who saw Him and believed and people, like us, who believe but have not seen Him. By faith, we should believe His Word in the Bible and what He does for us. We may not believe some things because we do not understand, but we should believe by faith, without seeing that God exists.
The Lord is actively working on our behalf, night and day, helping us have a better life now until the end, giving us knowledge and wisdom of Himself. That is exciting to me.
Some people say the Bible is full of contradictions and changes within different translations. This is true, not because the Bible is wrong, but because people interpret these words differently.
How can we know the Bible is the spoken Word of God and is accurate and true? By studying the Bible, you find it proves itself to be true. It is important to pray for understanding before reading the Bible. It’s not like a newspaper you read once and throw away, it holds all things for all people in life, past, present, and future. The Bible is active, alive and living. It moves through time and changes according to circumstances and the will of God. No one has the ability to read and understand all of the Bible; it’s a manual you need to study all your life. I believe God set it up that way for a reason; for example, you could read a passage today and understand it in one way, then read the same passage a year later and have a new understanding. When that happens, you see a new important revelation He has for you for the times you are in. This is why people say His Word is alive, moving to our everyday needs, changing through time. What book or newspaper offers that kind of knowledge? This is more proof it is from the Lord God.
Miracles still happen in the world today. My aim is to open up more people to the belief that your miracles are waiting to be discovered and received by faith. This book will help those who do not know Who God is, or do not understand His Word, or do not even believe there is a God. I did not understand the Bible for years; I was lost: a sinner, blind, hungry, thirsty, and dying without knowing Jesus in a personal way.
Keep in mind, my testimony is not fast food or instant breakfast. It is important to see that God has an overall plan for the redemption of humanity. The Bible is not just a bunch of stories; these tales come together in a wonderful, beautiful picture of life, love, mercy, grace, understanding, and eternal life. Yes, there is war, death, evil, bad angels, and good angels; they’re all part of His plan. Understanding this helps us in many ways; finding our purpose in the big picture can give us some peace.
Lord, you know who they are; please give them understanding, and let the light of Your truths open up the places that need it. Soften up what needs softening, and fill the reader with what they need, right now. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
About two thousand years ago, without human hands, God built His new covenant church in the truth, light, and the blood of Jesus. In Hebrews 9:1-11 (NIV) the old Jewish covenant built with hands passed away. In 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV), Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old has gone, the new is here!"
The people who believed in Jesus had to hide in the shadows from the holy men, God’s first covenant church, the Jewish people of their day. The Old Testament in the Bible is about how God started to set up His plan of salvation. The New Testament is about the virgin birth of Jesus and His life, death, and resurrection, the finished work on the cross. This is the completed plan of salvation for all the world that would believe in Him and call on His name. God had a requirement that the sin debt be paid with blood, and the blood had to be perfect in every way. The blood had to be from the Lamb of God, Jesus, His Son. The blood of Jesus paid the sin debt in full, past, present, and future. The blessing and Spirit of God are with the believers of Jesus in the new church. God is still working with the Jewish people. He has not given up on them and blesses who He wants. Few Jewish people back then understood that killing Jesus was part of the prophecies from the Old Testament; even after Jesus told His disciples He was going to die soon, they did not understand why. Not all of God’s mysteries are revealed in one moment of time to all people. Isaiah and other prophets wrote in the Old Testament that they would kill their Messiah, their King. So again, the Word of God proves this is the plan He had. Some prophecies were written thousands of years ahead, and some were written hundreds of years before they happened. Jesus fulfilled over three hundred prophecies in His virgin birth, life, miracles, death, and resurrection.
The good thing in all this is more and more Jewish people are finding out this truth and coming to the knowledge of Jesus for their salvation, just like God’s Word says would happen in the end days. You see how it is all coming together like the Lord said it would? Two thousand years ago, Christians had to be careful who they spoke to because they would be put to death if caught preaching the Gospel of Jesus, the Good News. The Jewish priests, holy men, and people of the day did not want to hear the truth about Jesus, especially if it meant changing something in their lives. They were comfortable. Some had power or money in high places, location, or religion, and they did not want to give up anything. Some sinners did not want to come to the knowledge of Jesus because they did not want to give up their sin. Even in today’s world, if something gets in the way of people or threatens them, they kill it or make it go away somehow.
We can see the same thing going on in churches and in the culture of today’s world: lies and fake, feel-good religions, and laws that say it’s okay to kill things. It is our free will, and hopefully, after you read this book, you will choose the truth and respect God’s Word and His creation. God’s promises will come to pass. Read 2 Peter 3:10-12 (NIV): But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, the Heavens will disappear with a roar, the elements will be destroyed by fire and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives. As you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. Stand strong to the end and believe God keeps His promises.
I like to read the whole chapter to get a better understanding of what the writer is speaking about.
The true church of God will be pushed back to the shadows of the streets and into the homes, out of the sight of the ungodly haters, the evil spirits, and the children of darkness. They
