The Day I Met a Dead Man and His Religion

About this ebook
Is it possible to meet the dead? It is possible to meet the evil spirit that controlled a man while he was living. There is one God and one Holy Spirit but with Satan there are many spirits. When a man that was controlled by an evil spirit, dies, that evil spirit moves on to another yielding vessel. This is why we can execute serial killers or take down evil leaders and yet another one will arise. We as humans were created in the image of God. We were given freewill to either yield to Him (God) or Satan. The Day I Met a Dead Man and His Religion was a day I will never forget. A man by the name of John Calvin, who had been dead for hundreds of years, is still alive today and teaching his false doctrine.
My meeting Calvin set me on a quest to prove the gospel of Jesus Christ and to prove Calvins religion to be the hopeless false teaching that it is! You are invited to go on this journey with me, a journey for Gods truth. Are we born sinners? Do we have freewill? Who are the elect? Did God create hell for man? Is there an age of accountability?
If we allow Gods Word to be preached as a lie then eventually you wont even remember the truth anymore.

Preface
I started my first book, Learning to Untie Gods Hands, in 2012. It was without a doubt, God given. I was excited about sharing my personal testimony and sharing how God had changed my life. Learning to Untie Gods Hands launched in February 2013 but just months before the launch, in August, I experienced a state of sadness that I had never known before.
One day, I had a conversation with a preacher on the age of accountability, we knew each other well and I thought we shared the same Christian beliefs. There were days I wish that conversation had never taken place but I know now, it was God’s will. I had no idea who or what this conversation would introduce me to. A religious belief that I had never heard of and a man that had been dead for hundreds of years and yet his interpretation of the Word was still influencing many. A man that was dead but yet he had found a way to remain alive and well today.
I have never been the same since I was introduced to John Calvin. I have learned to listen, very closely, when listening to today’s preaching. God does not want confusion among His people and I certainly do not want to be confused, nor do I want to confuse anyone. I decided to write about this experience hoping that it will set someone free or prepare another for their encounter with any teaching that does not line up with God’s Word.

Editor’s Note
During a time and season when deception is running rampant through the church we are reminded in Mark 13:11 "…And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many." The Day I Met a Dead Man and His Religion
is an awesome, informative, spirit led account of ‘False doctrine’ verses ‘Truth’ as seen through the eyes of the author Sherry York.
Calvinism, like so many other man made doctrines is a potent example of the subtlety of the enemy’s strategies to plant mistruths into the minds and hearts of believers. Sherry York has put quality time and effort into this dynamic presentation in hopes that the eyes of many will be opened to the truth of false doctrine, setting many free and providing others with guidelines that will aid and protect them from deception.
The book has been produced in excellence and as you travel through the pages of this book, be prepared to have the eyes of your understanding enlightened as God speaks to you through these pages.
Congratulations Sherry York on a job well done.

Introduction
You may be asking yourself, how did I meet a dead man? I met him when the spirit that was controlling him found another vessel to work through. We know there is one God and one spirit (Ephesians 4:4-5) but with the devil there are many spirits. We know there were many demonic spirits by the story of Legion and others that were possessed. We also know that Jesus set them free. Satan entered into Judas causing him to betray Jesus and the same betraying spirit is alive today and many are filled with it. There are also those filled with a lying spirit of the anti-Christ and false teaching.
God is not a man that He should lie no, in fact He is nothing but pure truth. God’s Word has to be rightly divided and that my friend is not done overnight. It is done by a truly born-again Christian, filled with the Holy Spirit, who reads the Word over and over. A spirit filled person who studies to show his or herself approved and rightly divides the Word of Truth. We as believers need to read the Word! Satan is on the move with a last day movement to deceive the church. Brainwashing, from the pulpit! Brainwashing the church to believe that what they have been taught and read about salvation and Christianity is all wrong!
I have been saved for over 20 years. I feel confident in whom I am in Christ and that I have a personal relationship with my Father through Him. I don’t claim to know it all because you learn something new every time you read the Word, but I have read it enough to know false teaching. I want to share with others about how I met a dead man and his religion. I want to show you the character of the man
