Bishop Dalton George Burnett, a great man of faith certainly practices what he preaches. "We are who God says we are, and we can do what God says we can do, a weekly confession along with the congregation he pastors each week. Bishop often says the church must become problem solvers and as Descendant of God", we have power within us to bring change. We all have the power on our tongues to command change. Death and life is on our tongue.

Bishop is the shepherd of Harvestime Ministries, a man of passion for the things concerning the kingdom of God; reaching out into the community, teaching and inspiring others to overcome their challenges and limitations whilst striving to fulfil their highest possible purpose on this earth.

I met Bishop Burnett over 10 years ago and over the years I’ve had the pleasure of listening to this anointed man preach, teach and expound the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I really experienced the TRUTH and POWER of Gods Word while in a meeting where Bishop ministered the Word. He took the time to go back to Genesis 1. He began to explain that when God blessed us he gave us authority to operate in divine status just like Him after all he created us in His image and likeness. Bishop explained, that ‘Whenever God wants something he speaks it out of Himself’. Just as God said, "Let there be light" and there was light, so it was! For me the penny suddenly dropped and there was an awakening and connection in my spirit to this truth. I believe that’s when I begun to unlearn to relearn everything I was ever taught.

Bishop Burnett said he never envisaged writing a book but God opened his eyes to His Word and to that of the words that we speak daily. God continued pouring out His Word into his heart and now he shares this reading with you.

The author writes as himself, no frills or tradition he is simple, clear but effective. Having read this book-3 myself I am convinced and believe that whatever I say from this point onwards is a creative force. In order to live a successful and abundant life, it depends on the words I speak from my mouth.

This book helps you to understand that you are already healed, having the nature of God in you. It also explains that God gave us all spiritual blessings from the beginning of time Gen 1:28. I am now enlightened to more truths in Genesis 1 than I ever imagined possible. You have the same creative force on your tongue given to you by your father that activates power just like Him. The very words that you speak, actually mean life or death. We are God’s descendants and we are Sons on the earth with God given authority. We have authority given to us and power on our tongues to command a thing and be established. Healing belongs to us.

The Descendants of God makes it clear in order to rule and reign in Christ we must learn to only speak, confess and pray Gods word out daily. Only say what God says!

God has really used Bishop Burnett through this book to wake us up. I now know who I am in Christ and I’m persuaded to think and speak only that which is written in God’s Word. It has changed my attitude which means my altitude will be great.

Those of you who read this book will begin to fully understand that you too are Descendants of God and you already have the Kingdom of God in you. You will learn about the Blessing of God and your capabilities, the power of positive confession and how to take your faith to a higher level and believe for those things you do not yet see. Such as the healing of your body.

There is no doubt that you will change the way you think, speak and start living. You will no longer see yourselves as others see you, but you will start seeing yourself as God sees you and believing what He has said. We are most definitely the Descendants of the Most High God!

This book has been written specifically for you in mind. You will never be the same again, as you are brought into the full revelation knowledge of the Christ in you. You are who God says you are and you can do what God says you can do

The Descendants of God series has been birthed out of many years of pain, but in my pain God was there all the time to lead me into divine purpose and destiny. I want to thank God foremost for my wife Pastor Sandra for her love, support, prayers and encouragement on this journey. I also want to thank my prayer team at Harvestime Ministries who have helped to birth this book with your support and prayers. Thank you Marjorie, Bishop John C Taylor, Bishop Dudley Bent, Bishop Canute Blake, Claudette, Marjorie, Audrey in Toronto and all of you in my team that helped me with this book on who we are in Christ. I was struggling for years and wondered why there was not much flow of the anointing even though I took God at his Word and had much of the word in my heart. What was lacking was the word my mouth consistently. One day after much pain I came upon the writings of Kenneth E. Hagin. He showed me how vital it was to learn to walk by faith standing on the Word. I then started to pray for the sick but had no major break out of the healing power, then, I came to the writings of Kenneth and Gloria Copeland. Their ministry changed my life forever. My connection to Kenneth in the Spirit is wonderful it has changed everything in my life. My days of being sick and broke are over.

I also started reading the writings of Charles Capps who taught me how to speak the word of God and keep speaking it no matter what we see. God also led me to the writings of F.F.Bosworth and John. G. Lake. I got Lakes sermons from Kenneth Copeland Ministries, this changed me forever. In Pakistan I tested this and the fire fell, many people got saved and healed in my first crusade there in 2008. The first branch was established and there is now over 3000 members and growing fast. They are on fire. I also came to the writings of David Oyedepo from Nigeria. By this time it was too late for the devil to stop me. Bishop John A Francis of Ruach city Church also poured into me, when I almost gave up because of strong opposition in the local church. I am forever grateful to him and his wife Penny Francis. God used Penny to help me into my purpose with just a few anointed words.

One night I heard Pastor Penny said in London "when God made us in heaven he did not put Impossible on us so who did". I went from that meeting and continued my faith search to get answers from the Lord as to why his power was not flowing in the Local churches the way he wants it to be. I found much of my answers in the writings and teachings of Dr Bill Winston. The problem was in our speech but we did not know it. Tradition is one of the greatest giants in the body of Christ that must die. These men as well as Mathew Ashimolowo of KICC were used by God to help me see my status in the kingdom of Jesus Christ Eph 1:3.

I came upon the writings of John Osteen; my God it helped me so much. Only in heaven he will know. Now as I daily apply the word, I can see the power of God flowing so easy in my life and in the local church. The deaf are hearing now and the blind are seeing by the power of the Lord. I want back all what Satan stole from me and my church and we are taking it all back in the name of Jesus Christ. I have repeated certain things in this book very often in order to help the reader.

If you want to see God work for you practice his word daily and he will step in and bring change to your life. God will only work with his word in your mouth and your heart.

God has spoken your healing

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God

A constant Careful reverent diligent Prayerful study of God’s word will always produce the results promised

Faith for healing cometh by hearing what God has said in his word. Faith for salvation comes by hearing and hearing the word of God. The only basis for faith is what the Lord God has said in his holy word. This gospel of the kingdom, un hooks us from the world system, and hooks us up with the kingdom of God. We are a healed people, but the enemy has blinded many of us to, the reality of our healing in Christ.

Isa 53:4-5

Surely he hath borne our griefs and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgression; he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him and with his stripes we are healed.

1 Pet 2:24

Who his own self bore our sins in his own body on the tree that we being dead to sins should live unto righteousness by whose stripes ye were healed.

Let me say this from now that it is very clear in the scriptures that it is always God’s will to heal us. It is his will that his will be done on the earth as it is in heaven. This is why he sent his covenant word to heal us of all our sicknesses and our diseases.

Faith for healing comes by what we hear in the word of God

It is written Great multitudes came unto him to hear and to be healed of their infirmities Luke 5:15 therefore for our healing to manifest we need to get back to the sounding/speaking out of the words of the Lord in the area of healing. The more we hear the word on the subject is the more our faith will grow in that area so we can claim what is rightfully ours. Jesus has already paid with his stripes and blood for our healing. By his stripes we are already healed Isa 53:4-5. He will not do any thing more about it; all we have to do now is take it by the faith force of God’s word in our hearts, and on our tongues. It is written: you shall have what you say Mark 11:23.

Get away from people who do not believe the word and talk down to you, believe what the Lord has said about you in his word over and over. You are always whatever/everything God says you are in his word even if you don’t see it now or feel it, it is still what you are in Christ Jesus. I will prove by the word of God that cannot be broken that healing is the will of God and sickness is the will and plan of the devil for man. Gen 1:28 is the plan of God for man in all generations from Adam. This is why Jesus came into this world to give us back eternal life, the life of God the father that we lost when Adam sold us out to the devil in the Garden of Eden. Jesus bore our sins and he bore our sicknesses and pain.

The word declares that: Jesus went about doing good healing all that was oppressed of the devil for God was with him Acts 10:38. So the father calls sickness satanic oppression. And Jesus was sent to take it off the people and the body of Christ is sent by Christ to do the same. Jesus said: as the father hath sent me even so send I you. (John 21:20). We are his ambassadors/descendants on the earth. We have his indwelling power and might on the inside of us so; there is no need to fear the enemy. We cannot be defeated, we are the very descendants of the living God and there is power on our tongues. We are more than conquerors over all sicknesses. God has spoken our healing. Beloved I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health 3 John 3.

He also said, go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature he that believes shall be saved Mark 16:15-20. Jesus told us to lay your hands on the sick and he will heal them by the power of his mighty Spirit in us. We have received the anointing to get the job done. We should be able to help all that come to us for help because we have the omnipotent Spirit of the Lord in/on us all the time. So many, of us as, ministers are, turning away the sick. We simply do not take God at his word the way we should. This is wrong the sick should be healed when we pray. We should turn no case away but what we should do is obey the word and stop making excuses. God has spoken our healing so we should never back off from what God has told us in his word. The world needs the church operating like Jesus in the earth and we need it right now. The world is dying, people are in a bad way and only the body of Christ can help with the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Wherever God finds people that will take him at his word it is there that power will flow like a river John 7:37-38. If ministers don’t take a stand against the devil he will continue to destroy the lives/mind and bodies of many in the church. Descendants of God must bring change to the nations with the power of the Lord.

No matter how hard the case may seem, we need to remember that Jesus said: it shall obey you Luke 17:6 yessssss it shall obey you. But how can the sickness obey you if you don’t do as Jesus said to do? The sickness need to hear you giving the faith command before it has to go. Jesus said: it shall obey you Luke 17:6. It is our job to pray and lay hands and speak to the sickness. But it is the work of the Lord to manifest the healing in the body of the believer. We are now in a season where God is ready to do miracles signs and wonders but the body of Christ must give the faith commands in order to set spiritual forces to work against the forces of hell and sicknesses. Jesus said: upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it Matt 16:16-18.

When the Lord is talking about gates of hell above what he mean is the trends of the world system and the mindset that Satan has setup in his evil world system. This mean we are not in a natural battle but a spiritual one. Satan uses his gatekeepers against our minds in order to control us. We need to bind them and renew our minds with the word of God of faith. Now understand that God’s word is the healing word, therefore, this is where real power is. The power is not of man but within the word of God itself. You see, God’s word has the power to fulfil itself when spoken from the lips of faith. But it must always be spoken in faith and not with any doubt in the heart. While we are speaking the word remember it is already settled in heaven Ps 119.

You can have all the doubt you want in the head but it must not be in your heart because faith is a product of the word of God in your heart. Faith is the life force of the living God. To live always in the divine cycle of healing one must live in the atmosphere of the word of God, night and day. It is written he sent his word and healed them and delivered them, from their destructions Psalm (107:20). So it is the word that does the healing not the preacher/minister church or denomination. Therefore all the glory belongs to the Lord not to a man.

Have a look at Matt 8:16 he cast out the spirits with his word and healed all that was sick. So sickness is of the enemy, but from the word we see the Lord using his word to heal his people. The word of the Lord is the healing word at all times. It is sent always for our good not to hurt us. The word always comes for our profit and our benefit. Gods word contains good power the enemies words contains evil power. Words are containers of power either good or evil. But the word of the Lord is good and lives for ever and Satan does not have that kind of power in his word. Satan word is not creative but destructive and always produces failure and famine and sickness. Jesus told us to lay our hands on the sick and they shall recover Mark 16:15-20. Now I don’t care what anyone has to say negative about that. I believe the words of Jesus and will do as he commands me to do. Not in an arrogant way but in faith trusting the good Lord to keep his word. I will lay my hands and continue to see the power of the Lord flowing in this area of my life. At the moment we are seeing the Lord open blind eyes by his power when we pray. Deaf ears are popping open as well. Man it is a great sight to see this.
