Dedication
This book is dedicated to Steve, my husband and best friend since 1976. He has always been my pillar of strength and encouragement and was instrumental in my pursuit of my goals. He was there through several illnesses during our dating years and I will be forever indebted to him for his nursing skills-especially after I broke both thumbs and was unable to use either hand for six weeks. He is the BEST.
I would also like to thank my parents, my mother Emily and especially my father, Fred. He was a wonderful guinea pig in sharing my experiments, especially while learning Iridology, and Fingernail and Tongue analysis, maintaining his encouragement along the way. My sister Viv, brothers Kai and Byron and their families shared a lot of eye rolling, but now, even they have a better understanding of the roll of nutrition in our health.
A very special thank you to Dr. Dan Dugi-my friend, my mentor and the most brilliant doctor I have ever met. His encouragement, intellect and support have been an invaluable tool for which I am forever indebted. I would also like to thank Louise O’Connor and Bli Dugi for their editing skills. Without their expertise this book would have been difficult reading.
