    Dear Queen,

    You are not your body.

    You are not your past.

    You are not your failures.

    You are not your heartbreak.

You are the mother of the earth.

You are the strength in the sun.

You are the smile behind the tears.

You are the beauty in the rainbow.

When you were born into this world,

A crown was placed atop your head.

Your goal in life is to never take it off.

You are a queen. Your mind is your throne.

God is your knight. He will protect you.

    He will protect your peace.

God has not forgotten about you. He never will.

One day your king will come, but until then,

You have to learn to enjoy you.

    Serenity, Hope, & Encouragement

    For the Single Woman.

    This is for you.

    Acknowledgments

M y heavenly Father, thank you for this gift. My gift back to you is sharing this gift to the world.

My mother, Amy Wallace! Hey, Mom, this is my second book. Thank you for being a great example of a strong and independent woman. Growing up, you showed me that you don’t need a person to complete you. All you need is you and God.

To all my single ladies, no worries. Your season for love is just around the corner.

To all my family, friends, and readers, thank you all for the support! I couldn’t have made this second book without the motivation and genuine care that was shown toward my dreams. For that, I am grateful.

Tiffany Earvin, once again you have made my vision come to life. Thank you for always supporting me throughout these years. You truly are an inspiration, and I’m thankful for that.

To WestBow Press, thank you for believing in my vision.

    Introduction

    All My Single Ladies

I can recall the long-anticipated moment when I had made my arrival into womanhood. My mother had finally given me permission to begin dating at the age of sixteen. Can you imagine the exhilaration that was seeping through my pores? I was finally able to join my friends in the wonderful world of meeting boys. My mother taught me a lot of dos and don’ts of dating. She did so by turning all of her mistakes into my lessons. I thought she was being mean by keeping me away from guys for a long time; however, her intentions were for my benefit. She was only protecting me from the dating world because she was aware of what a broken heart could do to you. She understood that some guys only wanted one thing from girls. Due to her knowledge, after they got that one thing, they would move on to another girl, and possibly break her heart too.

My mother wanted me to date wisely. She was trying to prevent me from becoming an unmarried teenage mother like she had become with me. She wanted a better life for her daughter. She had better plans for my future. Meanwhile, I was getting the hang of this dating scene. I was so caught up in fact that I ended up in a relationship for two whole years. I just knew that I would marry him. After all, when you love someone, you all are supposed to be together
