About this ebook

S.H.I.P.S. (Successful and Healthy Interactions through Prayer and Supplication)

How many times have you heard women complaining about their crazy friendships and relationships with other women? Well, I know I am definitely one of the women who complain about my friendships and relationships with other women. I have to admit that my interactions with other women have not been the best, but not all of them were bad. The reason for the book S.H.I.P.S. (Successful and Healthy Interactions through Prayer and Supplication) is to help other women build healthy relationships and friendships with other women. This book talks about many different types of women I have encountered in my life. I talk about many types, from the selfish all the way to the comforting.

This book includes short stories and ends with Bible scriptures you can reference when dealing with certain types of womenor even reference for yourself in the word of God.

The purpose of this book is for women to become the Christian women that God called them to be. Join me in my S.H.I.P.S. movement.

    ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

I want to start off by thanking God for the gift He has giving me to minister to others. I thank Him for the experiences that I have had in my life regarding the different S.H.I.P.S. with women. When I say S.H.I.P.S., I am referring to friendships I have had with women and relationships meaning that I wouldn’t really call them friends, but I had to interact with them on one level or another. This interaction could have been at church, at work, in school, in my sorority, playing sports, etc., but no matter what interaction occurred through these activities, there was some type of relationship formed. I thought of the acronym S.H.I.P.S. (Successful and Healthy Interactions through Prayer and Supplication) because the words friendships and relationships end with ships and what better way to express how I feel through these five letters. I know it is only through prayer and supplication that we as women can form lasting friendships and relationships. I must admit that I didn’t always pray about the women in my life but now I know that it is very important to do so because every woman is not for you and not all are against you. I want us to forget about those bad experiences and use S.H.I.P.S. to be the best women we can be. I truly feel that not only myself but many women would love to have successful and healthy interactions with other women, without all of the hassle. Let’s work on our S.H.I.P.S.

A recent incident that occurred with a woman really inspired me to write this book. I had several situations occur but for some reason this one stood out the most. I guess you could use the idiom, the straw that broke the camel’s back, to describe what I was thinking. When it happened, I really sat down and thought about all of the crazy interactions I had with women in the past and it really made me think about how many different types of women I have had encounters with including family members. I always wondered why God brought these women into my life
