My heart fills up when I realize that I have published my first book. All my life I’ve been telling people that I am a writer and will soon be publishing books. “Sure,“ they may have thought. Writing is more than my only constant compulsion. It is an outlet. With words I ward off loneliness, express my convictions, comfort my spirit and motivate myself to fulfill my very important purpose. This is the most important step I’ve ever taken.
