    Blossoming Heart - Fida Islaih

To the broken hearted, to those filled with strength, and to those continuing their fight.

    Thought

    Fear

    ––––––––

Fear is not being able to do something

fear is getting so close to doing something

but at the last minute you can't

you try so hard to do it

    but you can't

Fear is knowing what will happen on the other side

but your thoughts won't think of the good.

    Silenced

    ––––––––

    I held back

    my fears silenced me

    I believed in them

    ––––––––

didn't reach out or speak up

    I waited too long

    ––––––––

    When opportunities came

I thought they weren't for me,

    someone showed interest

I was quiet when talking about what I do

    ––––––––

    might be too late,

    it never is

    I can bring change

    ––––––––

    I shouldn't doubt,

    overthink,

    second guess myself

    loudly and clear

    I should do it.

    Negative Thoughts

    ––––––––

Don’t obsess over the negative thoughts.

    if you feel,

    when you feel

    these thoughts trap you

    ––––––––

    write them down

    draw them

    it will free you

    ––––––––
