I THANK THE LORD JESUS Christ who is the author and finisher of life. My hat goes out to all those who are trying very hard to survive this life and I say to you ‘Chin up, you can do this and there is life after death’. Thank you to my loving family who are always an encouragement.

Introduction

WRITING IS A VEHICLE through which I allow God to use me to speak life into dead situations, healing to the broken hearted, strength to the discouraged, boldness to the timid and freedom to those bound in shackles of past failures, abuse and injustice. All this for God to be glorified as his children rise up, walk and fulfil their life purpose as ordained by him. This collection of poems is a centrepiece of hope. As I was writing each Poem, I felt inspired. Not just for myself but for every person who has struggled with making sense of the bumps, curveballs and giants along the pathway of life. It is my prayer that as you read these poems, within one of them you will connect with a part of yourself, get a glimpse of your story and gold to help recover the missing pieces. May you rise above your circumstances into hope, freedom and life.
