Thoughts Words and Deeds - Daren Jud
Kid’s Stuff
O Dolly Dolly
O Dolly Dolly
Sitting on the shelf
Leaning to one way
Not content with yourself
Oh what a cloudy day
O Dolly Dolly
With a tear in your eye
Your white dress worn and tattered
Put on a shelf with no good-bye
A memory of play then shattered
O Dolly Dolly
Don’t worry your pretty self
Another child will come your way
Not a dog or elf
But with you she will want to play
O Dolly Dolly
Stop your cry
Look out the window
See that it is your time
And for you there will be another tomorrow
My Babies
They run
Jump
Holler
Play
Giggle
Give hugs
Love
Untitled
I took my light
Made two
Now always in my sight
Trains, Planes and Cars
Looking at the stars
Seeming so far
Hugs from the heart
Diapers doodles and feet
Toes on warm concrete
Secured tight in seat
Food on faces as they eat
Books snacks and a monkey
Dances funky
Attitudes so spunky
I am so very lucky
Gum Under My Shoe
One day at the zoo
I spit out my gum...ptoo
I got it under my left shoe
It was all stick ewwww!
This gum on the bottom of my shoe
I went to see the baboon
He laughed at my gummy goo
Almost turned him blue
What was I to do on the bottom of my shoe?
It was getting super stringy as I walked through
I then saw a bird singing a tune
He cawed like a loon
Where did you get that gum under your shoe?
It’s mine and I don’t know what to do
It’s true
I need it off soon
He told me to pick it off with a spoon
I did that too
That didn’t do
I tried to get the gum off the bottom of my shoe
I took another piece to chew
A large bubble I blew
Spit it out again...ptoo
Now I
