Most Secret - Paul Franklin
Does It Have to Rhyme?
‘I’ve written a poem for you
You can read it if you like’
‘I am
But doesn’t it have to rhyme?’
‘No, not all the time
It can do
Just for you
If you want it to
But then again
It might not –
So there!’
Can’t Do Two Things at Once
When I’m thinking
My writing is stinking
When finished and complete
I make sure it’s neat
Non-Verbal Communication
A Pausing glance
A flicker of eyelids
A warm embrace
A nudge of noses
A fusion of lips
A world of passion
Together
I dream of the moments
When we’re not
