FIVE POEMS

Thirsty

Animals that move
on small, short legs.

Sand that sucks in
anything / anyone.

Something seen
through a torn screen

We all have

every day
right now

in more than
one car

A basic love look
is missing.

Egosyntonic
or
Egodystonic

Splinter ratherthan organ.
