This month, I have found it difficult to allow myself to be seen. My caring responsibilities have increased and, once more, I am struggling to make my voice heard by underfunded services and reluctant ears.
As summer fades, it can feel natural to retreat behind my front door and embrace the darkness – but this is less appealing when staying inside for much of the day is enforced by the needs of a poorly child and the element of choice is
