Author

Mia Lyttle Twysted

Mia Lyttle Twysted is an American-born author, poet, and artist who enjoys the weird and somewhat demented. Described as unique, quirky, and unconventional, she looks to entertain, shock, and enlighten her fellow man. With her distinct and unusual viewpoint, she creates images, situations, and collections that people can both relate to and enjoy. Her mission is to connect with others leaving them feeling a sense of togetherness, fear, and maybe, just maybe, some wickedness.

    ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

Thank you to my friends and family who walk along with me on my journey. They are my greatest blessing in life. I commend them for putting up with me as I work toward my dreams.

    Coming to a Boil

    The heart torn like flesh

    Spews out poisonous anger

    Till only darkness remains

    Temptation

    Disgusted with the

    Familiar feeling

    I bite my lower lip

    My eyes trace the

    Curve of her hips

    Up and down her

    Golden tattooed flesh

    Closing my eyes

    I pray for absolution

    I know will never come

My heart races as we shake hands

    Her slim smooth fingers

    Woven around my coarse skin

Sunday morning, I go to church

    Lead me not into temptation

    I pray on bended knee

    And with folded hands

    Following her home

    I snatch her in the

    Dead of night

    She will satisfy

    My unnatural urges

    I will cut and slice

    I will take from her

Enough to keep the monster calm

    Till temptation calls again
