    What is the Keto Diet?

    By putting an individual’s body into a metabolic state known as ketosis, the Keto Diet effectively allows an individual following the eating plan to begin burning the bodies excess stores of fat for energy, rather than utilizing carbohydrates.

    There are several different variations of the Keto Diet and, the variant a person decides to utilize for their weight loss goals will be a person preference, the different types of ketogenic diet are as follows.

    Standard.

    This is the keto diet program that many people follow it has a typical ketogenic macro of 75% fat, 20% protein and 5% carbohydrate.

    Cyclical Keto Diet (CKD Diet).

    This version of the Keto Diet includes several days where in order to maximize the effectiveness of ketosis, an individual will load up on carbohydrates allowing the process to begin again.

    Targeted Keto Diet (TKD Diet).

    This is the version of the Keto Diet that is typically utilized by professional athletes, bodybuilders and sportsmen as it allows for additional intakes of carbohydrates depending on how active the individual is.

    High Protein Keto Diet (HPKD Diet).

    Almost identical to the original eating Keto Diet eating program, this version has been adjusted to allow an individual to get more protein on a daily basis. A typical macro for this type of ketogenic diet would be 60% fat, 35% protein and 5%
