    Acknowledgments

This book is just a mere look into the journey our family has been on. Through out the time that we were processing and going through the motions we had many angels on our side. I want to thank those angels. You know who you are. You held us up, held us together and kept the faith. Thank you! Without you I don’t know that I would have survived. Without you I wouldn’t have been encouraged to write. Thank you fo our family and friends who never let me feel alone.

Thank you to CB for having my back, helping me pack boxes and carry emotions. Thank you for being there every step of the way. She was your mom too and she loved you dearly.

Thank you to the Kowalski Family. You are family and I am beyond thankful that in my darkest moments you helped provide the sunshine and rainbows our daughter needed. Thank you for late night conversations, criss-cross apple sauce floor cries, drinking lemonade and limoncello- soon we will celebrate with more and with happy tears and fries! Thank you for your writing, editing and patience with my stubborn self!

Thank you to Kelley, Elizabeth and Lindsey for so often being there for a spur of the moment cry and for always allowing me to process. It was always and will always be so greatly appreciated.

Thank you to all of my Bono Family, even those of you with different last names. You’ve forever been a part of my journey and I’m so blessed to have you as family. Family truly is what it is all about. I love you.

Thank you especially to Uncle Frank for always being my mom’s right hand man! I swear hospitals think you are staff after all of our time there together.

Thank you to Aunt Annie for promises you’ve kept and for always being the one I can ask anything to! From cars to parenting, from names to questions about my mom- thank you for knowing it all. Thank you for forever being there.

Thank you Uncle Ray for being there for the hardest of moments, for holding my hand and for helping me to be ok to make the hardest of decisions.

Thank you to Aunt Josie for emotionally mending me and holding me up through many conversations and concerns.

Thank you Uncle Sal for working to help physically mend the things that were not broken but had to be fixed in order to make it through the hardest moments as well as the most opportunistic.

Thank you to Aunt Virginia for showing up in perfect timing, in God’s timing.

Thank you to Stacey for never wanting to adult with me and forever making me a better adult with your love and friendship.

    Thank you to
