Letters To The Little Girl Inside of Me

About this ebook
In “Letters To The Little Girl Inside of Me,” it expresses the war between my adult self and my adolescent self. The woman that I had become was trying to let go of things that no longer served purpose, and the little girl was clinging to certain patterns because that’s all she’s ever known. There was a compelling to change things but there was no idea or plan on how to change. God appeared quieter than He had ever been. After months of overthinking, multiple questions, and overwhelming stress, it was decided to turn the mirror inward. In all honesty, running was better than facing myself. The wounds couldn’t heal because the focus was always elsewhere. Eventually the surrendering process had to occur in order to heal, change, let go, forgive myself and others, to allow God access to deal with me. It was ok to relearn lessons obtained through church as well as life.
Kelsie Coleman
Born and raised in Danville, Illinois, Kelsie works in youth development. With love, she serves by mentoring, coaching, encouraging, spending time with, listening to and leading children. She has begun to use the gifts God has given her in hopes to be what she needed to be mentors as a child. Kelsie hopes that by doing so it will motivate, encourage, and strengthen people (especially the youth) to do the same. Her biggest mission over these last few years has not been to be in the spotlight, but to fulfill her purpose by using the spotlight to inspire others. Kelsie is hopeful that her example will be one that can be followed by the youth she serves, as well as individuals in general. She continues to write poetry to express her heart and thoughts who dare to read her work.
