I always wanted to do something in life, which would have an impact, or make a difference in someone’s life. I have a strong and dedicated love for poetry, so I have put together this book to provide inspiration and motivation to someone that needs that extra strength. In the words of my beloved Grandmother, “If you are not, or have not been through something in your life, just keep on living!” I now know what she meant by that. I was born May 12, 1975, in a small town in Arkansas. I developed a love for poetry at the tender age of nine years old. Again, I express, that the trials of life, inspired me to write this book to encourage someone else that might need that extra push so to speak. When I am going through something, it always helps me to read something inspirational and for that, I wanted to help others as well. My book has a little something for everyone. I have two wonderful children, who means the world to me and they are a lot of my motivation and what keeps me keeping on. Please look out for my other books of poetry. It will contain comedy poetry, helps deal with relationship dilemmas, helps cope with the loss of loved ones etc. I promise it will be worth your while. Again, I say to you, Be blessed and be a blessing to others!

    I SPEAK THROUGH MY WORDS

I once was in darkness, but now I see the light. I have a message to bring, in the poetry that I write. These are not just words that I write with my pen. There is a message that comes from deep within. There is inspiration, motivation, and encouragement for your soul. There is a story in my poetry, with a message to be told.

Poetry is my gift and a passion that I have desired. I have been blessed with this gift that I have acquired. So, God has allowed me to minister through my poetry, and I am just trying to be heard. I might be quiet now, but I speak through my words.

I don’t know where poetry will take me, but I am certainly on an adventure. I might not know what the future holds, but I certainly know who holds my future. Poetry lifts me up, when I am feeling down, it lets me get the message to you, without having to make a sound. I pray that my poetry does not go unheard, because there is a message for you my friend, that’s why, I speak through my words.

    THIS TOO SHALL PASS"

Why is your heart filled with so much pain? Your mind is racing, feels Like you going insane. You have so much trouble and drama going on in your life. The pain that you’re feeling cuts just like a knife.

You are not alone my friend; I am here for you through the good and the bad. I will continue to be with you, when you’re happy or sad. The things you are going through is temporary, and it will not last. You will get through it, for this too shall pass.

Weeping may endure one night, but joy cometh in the morning light. Cry if you must, but know that things will be okay. For tomorrow, is sure to be a brighter day. I know that you wonder, why there are so many trials that you go through. But know that you are not alone, and someone is thinking of
